Kick back and relax at this dog-friendly and oceanfront Cape Meares vacation rental! This home lies in a secluded coastal community and includes a private set of steps to the beach, on the back part of the property. Cape Meares is beloved for its quiet atmosphere and sights like the lighthouse and Cape Meares National Wildlife Refuge, but guests won't be far from more populated destinations. Shopping and dining in Oceanside and Netarts and the world-famous cheese and ice cream of Tillamook are all less than a 10-mile drive away. It's the perfect retreat for couples, families, or a small group of friends.



When everyone has had their fill of coastal sightseeing, relaxing at home base on your private deck will be the perfect cap to dreamy vacation days. Sip a cocktail or glass of wine as burgers cook on the gas grill, or soak in bliss in your private hot tub! When everyone is ready to come inside, the wood stove will keep everyone cozy on foggy mornings and chilly evenings as a movie streams on the TV.     We enjoyed our stay. Everything was as pictured in the listing and everything was clean, linens, towels, etc. There was even some firewood for the outdoor fire pit and the hot tub was ready to go (although we didn't use either due to lack of time).Kitchen was well stocked with pots, pans, plates, silverware, etc. Multiple coffee makers, Keurig and drip.The sunset and the beach were fantastic, almost private with very few other people. The cliffs and creek flowing into the tidal pools with crabs and anenomies were fun to explore at low tide.We had a few maintenance issues, but nothing that would prevent us from returning.

    The view from this place is amazing! Planning on returning next year already. Great space slept in the downstairs master bedroom. It is an older oceanfront house that they’ve remodeled and kept updated. Hot tub was great to soak in and even jumped in the ocean. Great view from the kitchen and the deck. Having the washer and dryer worked great. Overall, great stay.!

    The location of this property was awesome. It was everything we wanted for our vacation: beach access, hot tub, and dog friendly. Watching the sunsets from house were definitely one of our highlights.

    It was a great location, no complaints except There were no cleaning supplies in the house. Also very disappointed they could not give us an extra 30 min to let our Infant get time to wake up. The cleaning people were there at 10am waiting for us to get out of the house even when we asked them for extra time.
