We had my mom’s 100th birthday at this lovely property. Beautiful house, beautiful back yard and perfect weather. I would highly recommend for a family get together.

Family weekend

Overall, this is a lovely home and we had a great time. Check in was easy and the hosts were relatively responsive in messages. My husband and I hosted both of our families for a weekend to celebrate our recent elopement. The bedrooms were great and fit our needs perfectly. It was clear that this is the hosts primary residence which made things a bit unusual. There were no instructions on what to use, how to operate things, etc. Their personal items were everywhere and it wasnt clear what was off limits. There are obviously multiple dogs in the home and there was dog hair on some of the furniture and floors. The patio furniture was quite dirty as was the screened in porch. There was a sauna and cold plunge which we used, even though they werent mentioned in the listing. The cold plunge water was dirty. There were a lot of fruit flies in the kitchen during our stay as well which we mitigated with a homemade trap. Definitely a lovely home and a great outdoor space, we loved the outdoor fireplace and hot tub. Just a few details that were unexpected, and ones that we found strange at a property of that price point.

Wedding weekend with family

We stayed with family during our daughter’s wedding weekend. There were plenty of room and spaces for our family to gather and get ready for the Wedding. There is beautiful space in the house for family to visit and catch up. We love the decor and your outdoor space. We were able to BBQ after the Wedding to rest after the Wedding. Excellent house for extended family during a potentially stressful time. We really appreciate the hospitality. Thank you

excellent stay, great for a large group

We rented this property for our wedding party during our wedding weekend. It was perfect! We had plenty of room for everyone to sleep comfortably and use multiple bathrooms/ showers etc. We enjoyed all the common areas, especially the kitchen and living room. The pictures on this listing do not do this place justice! The kitchen is fully equipped with everything you could need for a big group- wine glasses, plates, trays, cutlery etc. There is a wine fridge to use, and a regular refrigerator too.The outside area was phenomenal. Plenty of areas to sit and enjoy everyone's company. The home is gorgeous, clean and picturesque. We even took our wedding photos here! All our guests kept giving us compliments on the home. My only comment is the loud beeping security system. There is a beep anytime someone opens or closes any door. We eventually got used to this, however we slept in the master bedroom and there is a keypad/ alarm on the wall, so we did hear beeping all night. The volume is not adjustable. This was annoying when sleeping- because we were in a big group where people were going in and out after we went to bed. This may not be an issue for other parties where everyone is going to bed at the same time. This is the only negative comment I can think of, and it does not take away from the property, but it is worth mentioning. We loved it, and can't recommend this location enough! Book it- you will NOT regret it. Thank you Deidre!

September Wedding Guest House

The indoor and outdoor space was great for my family. We enjoyed the outdoor space (fire and hot tub) which was lovely. Plenty of rooms and space to get ready for a wedding with ample parking. The house is great. In a perfect world, the kitchen and closets could be better organized.

Amazing

The house is amazing to stay in and has anything you could possibly need. We stayed with our wedding party and hosted our rehearsal dinner for our wedding here. The property is gorgeous, plenty of parking, plenty of bedrooms. We all spent a solid 30minutes just running around the house and exploring all it had to offer. Highly recommend and definitely recommend staying as long as you can to fully enjoy it.

Spacious…beautiful home!!

We loved the home…it really is beautiful. We had lots of room inside and loved the outdoor space as well. Check in and check out was a breeze. We also love fur babies but maybe figure out how to get the dog hair cleaned up better. We noticed it mostly on the first floor. That was the only complaint we had. Thank you for sharing this beautiful home!! We had a wonderful time!!!

Wedding weekend stay

Great location and a beautiful home. Perfect size for our group. Beautiful outdoors. Gardener came early one day quite loud. Unorganized kitchen, drawers and cabinets crammed with clutter. No tablecloths, placemats or napkins. Outdoor not prepared for guests (dead mice around outdoor furniture, grill not clean). The rooms were nice, with clean sheets and towels. Easy security. I couldn't figure out how to ask the host questions. No written instructions for television, garbage, or stove that we found. Not sure what we could and could not use.

Weaver Review

Great location for visiting Boston, Newbury area,New Hampshire and Maine with multi-generation family for before and during the 4th of July. Plenty of room for all ages, with game rooms,outdoor grill and patio enjoyed by all. Indoor kitchen was well used by multiple cooks with lots of room to gather around. Agree with previous review that dog hair on furniture could be addressed for the future, or be prepared for the allergies that accompany. Hot tub is nice touch but a thermostat to adjust the temperature downward was well concealed.

Family Funeral Gathering

We had some family flying in and some family who lived locally. The house was a perfect gathering hub. We easily fit 20 plus people around the dining room table and 10 comfortably around the kitchen island. Thete was plenty of room to spread out or to come together. We put one generation on the 3rd floor and another on the second. Easy to find, quick drive to downtown Newburyport, plenty of parking at the house. Generous supply of towels, cookware, bedding, trash bags, etc. Enough bathrooms and full length mirrors that no one had to wait when we were all getting ready for our mother's funeral. We wouldn't hesitate to reccommend the house to anyone who wanted to gather with friends or family.

Wedding weekend

We rented the property to be close to a wedding venue. The house was beautiful and the check in process was easy. We felt welcome from the moment we entered the home. Deidre was pleasant and easy to work with .

Lovely property in a great location.

Lovely touches.... s'more makings, bottled waters, Hershey kisses, basic pantry items available for use, elaborate outdoor fireplace and seating area and outdoor cooking. For those with ambulatory issues, no hand rails on any of the outside stairs/entrances. Our group loves domestic pets, however there was an abundance of dog fur on some of the furniture. A suggestion would be labeling all light switches and thermostat controls. It was a wonderful place for a multi generation family vacation!

Gorgeous House with Everything You Need!!!

This wasn’t just a stay, it was a classic New England Estate experience! We stayed for my wedding weekend with almost the whole wedding party. There was enough space for both the girls and guys to get ready without seeing each other on wedding morning, and everything we needed for the perfect day. The master suite was absolutely gorgeous, and the hot tub was definitely a plus! The hosts were easy to communicate with and very gracious. 10/10 would recommend for anyone!

Great Extended Family Gathering Spot

We enjoyed a wonderful week at this spacious home. Our family group of 13 (four households) had plenty of room and really enjoyed the beautiful backyard. The kids played foosball for hours in the basement, and everyone found what they needed in the large kitchen. The house had a few quirks, as all do, but nothing that got in the way of our visit.

Family vacation

Very roomy for our party of 11. Able to spread out. Basement was a bonus. Wish we could have made better use of the yard and grill, but weather did not always cooperate. Nearby to shopping, food and essentials. Very much enjoyed right down the road. If need arises would stay again.

Great beach rental for multiple families!

Beautiful home, extremely spacious (to accommodate multiple families), and an amazing patio with fireplace where we spent every evening. We found this days before a planned vacation was canceled due to pandemic restrictions, and despite the short notice the owner was able to accommodate and prepare the property as much as possible from a distance.

Beautiful home in a great spot!

We had a great stay in this big and beautiful home, the pictures don't do it justice! Inside, the kitchen was spacious and well equipped with everything we needed for our stay. The bathrooms and bedrooms were clean and all the beds were comfortable. Outside the seating area was huge and accommodating for our 11 guests. The outdoor sectional by the fire was great for a spot to hang out at night. Newburyport and Plum Island were only a short car ride away. Deidre was so nice and responsive to make our stay as smooth as possible. Would highly recommend staying here!

Wonderful stay near Plum Island

The house was beautiful--the rooms bigger than was implied by the photos. We loved hanging out on the patio and the screened-in porch, and the location was convenient to fun things to do at the beach, in Gloucester (whale watch), in Newburyport...Deidre was helpful at every turn and I could not recommend this property more highly!

Excellent house!

This house is bigger and more impressive than the pictures can portray. Very happy to spend the weekend here with extended family. Owner was very quick and responsive with questions we had both before and during our stay. Would love to stay here again if the opportunity presents itself!

Very nice and will maintained.

My husband and I had just come from a week overseas. Landed and were at home within 30 minutes. It was very welcoming. Within an hour my son and daughter in law, nieces and nephews, brothers and sisters were coming to visit. There was enough room for them to stay over. We had a wedding on Friday. Saturday we had a large gathering and BBQ. Wonderful 5 days!
