Casa de paz (house of peace) is a very beautiful luxury country villa , with 5 bedrooms sleeping facility ideally for 10, but can accommodate14 ,if the small childs bedroom upstairs is used .
The villa is ideal for a relaxing holiday and activities FOR : Golfers ,Rock climbers/mountaineers and cyclist,hikers,ornithologist... .It is set in over 6000sq m. of its own private grounds with a large swimming pool [ 12m x 6m ] . It has impressive palatial front gates, a long wide drive.There is a orange grove, and many other fruit trees- figs , pomegranate, dates , olives , plumbs, lemon. The car park holds about 10 cars and can also be used for outside games-tennis, basketbasketball, badminton. There are two large plots on each side of the driveway. These can be used for mini football , french boules , patong,.
We have a 70 foot long games room in the grounds which houses the table tennis and other sports equipment.Internally, the villa is furnished to a high standard with all facilities. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi and a bidet ,and the second bathroom has a bidet and aides for the elderly. The 3rd bathroom is in a building outside the main house and has a walk-in shower , we recommend you use this one after swimming , to avoid slipping on the tiles in the main house..The villa is completely flat throughout which makes it suitable for three generation family holidays!
From the villa there is very easy access to the motorways ; the sea, mountains ,cities & golf are nearby.
ARRIVAL TIME : AFTER 6 PM , IF NEW CLIENTS ARE ARRIVING THE SAME DAY AS THE PREVIOUS CLIENTS ARE LEAVING ,THE VILLA MAY NOT BE READY FOR THE NEW CLIENTS UNTIL 8PM . We recommend you come on the day following after the previous clients have left.

DEPARTURE TIME : 10 AM especially if new clients are arriving the next day.
DEPARTURE TIME : 12 PM FOR ALL CLIENTS. EXCEPTION MAY BE MADE IF NO CLIENTS ARE ARRIVING THE NEXT DAY. DURING THE COVID , or other PANDEMICS
WE ALLOW A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF NEW CLIENTS.

Please note it can take one and a half days to do all the laundry, to clean and prepare the beds for the new clients. We request all clients to strip the beds and put all the sheets in the washing machine and start the first wash. Please place all sheets and towels to be washed in the back room by the washing machine. There are two washing machines for the laundry - one is in the outbuilding shower room.
If the villa is left in a poor condition and excessive amount of time is required to do the cleaning , deductions may be made from
the security deposit by VRBO.

Entrance: As you enter the villa grounds there is a wide gate which can be operated manually. The driveway is long and spacious and the car park is enormous allowing lots of space and freedom for children to play safely and securely in a totally enclosed environment. Nets are provided for volley ball, badminton and the lines are drawn over the car park area to play almost 3/4 of a full length tennis court. If possible please bring your own tennis balls and rackets , badminton rackets , and shuttle cocks. There is a very large games room next to the parking bay which houses the table tennis and other games equipment ..
On either side of the driveway there are 2 plots suitable for children’s playing area and and a sand pit is provided .Please rake the sand before use . It tends to harden if it is not used frequently.

The ambience of the villa is so beautiful , you feel you have arrived in paradise.
ROCK CLIMBERS / MOUNTAINEERS , GOLFERS ,CYCLIST , WALKERS AND HIKERS HAVE FOUND THIS AREA IS IDEAL FOR THEIR BASE.
THE EL FONDO IS A WORLD NATURE reserve and is PROTECTED SITE FOR BIRDS AND IS JUST 1.5KM AWAY.
There is a water park in La Marine just a 20 minute drive from the villa and a large water park in Quesda also about 30minute drive.
Elche has a zoo , histirical buildings , mueseums , famous Palm tree park. Please have a

Gardens :
The plot is over 6000sq m. The orange grove has 67 orange trees. Guests are welcome to use the oranges which are in season from November to April and there is a large fruit juicer for your use.PLEASE CLEAN THE JUICER VERY THOROUGHLY AFTER USE. Other fruit trees include 9 olive trees, 2 pomegranates, figs, dates, red berrys and lemons , plumbs .
In a outer building there is a wet room , changing room , and a second washing machine .
SWIMMING POOL :
The swimming pool measures 12 meters by 6 meters and the deepest end is 2 meters deep. There is no child safety barrier around the pool.Please ensure children are supervised by an adult at all times. It is recommended children should have arm bands while playing around the pool.
The safety of children is the responsibility of the holiday guests. The owners can not accept any liability for slips, falls or other accidents.MARBLE STEPS ARE SLIPPERY- especially with wet feet.PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE ,and advise children not to run on the steps.
YOU ARE ARE ADVISED TO BRING YOUR EUROPEAN REGISTERED HEALTH CARDS FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A FULL HOLIDAY INSURANCE FOR EVERY ONE.
This villa is private rental , liability of the owners will never be more then the total cost of the holiday less any booking charges made by VRBO

Beaches and other information:
There are many fine sandy beaches just 25 minute drive: Santa Pola, La Marina, Guadamar, Torrevieca and Alicante , San Juan , are just some of them.
TV :
SO THAT YOU CAN VIEW YOUR FAVOURITE TV CHANNELS PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SKY VIEWING CARD.
There is a Smart Samsung TV with internet in the lounge , another TV in the rear kithchen / diner .
We can not guarantee you will pick up all the channels you could in your own house.
INTERNET :
We have broadband wifi internet access for your own laptop.Please telephone the internet provider if you are not getting a good signal.The internet information is on the router in the villa.
RESTAURANTS :
There are 7 restaurants within 2km of the villa.
SHOPPING :
The local mini-market DIAL -PRIX is well stocked with all groceries and off-licence drinks.It is 1.5km from the villa along the cv875 towards Elche. Opening times from Monday to Friday are : 8 am to 2p.m [ 14.00 ] , 4pm to 8 pm
Sunday opening is from 10 am to 2 pm. It may not be open on the numerous public holidays they have in Spain.
Almost opposite the Dial-Prix mini-market is a Bodega / restaurant which sells very nice wines ,5 litres for about 14
euros.
Supermarkets : Carefoure in Elche is open from 8 am to 10 pm from Monday to Friday .On Sunday it is open from 10am to
2pm.

Zoo , Water parks , theme parks are within easy drive from the villa.

It may be possible to arrange regular maid service for 15 euros per hour. The villa will be cleaned after you have left , or on the day of your departure , if new clients are due on the same day.

MOUNTAINS :
Keen rock climbers have found the villa ideal for the local mountains . They have found the low season very suitable and economical for their hobby.
Professional cyclist come to this area from all over europe to train.

For you comfort :
In the summer we recommend you keep the bedroom blinds drawn and keep the windows and bedroom doors open for best circulation and use the air fans for cooling the air. This is more healthy then using the air-conditioning
IF YOU WANT TO USE THE AC THEN PLEASE CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS.
For a mosquito free house please keep the exterior doors closed.
There is shortage of electricity supply to the villa. You may find some time there is only enough electric for one
a/c unit - use the one in the lounge.
Also we recommend you use the gas cookers. . If the electric oven and microwave are used together
this may 'trip' the electric.Reduce appliances in use and Turn the switch back on from the fuse panel by the front door.
BALCONY & TERRACE UPSTAIRS : Please note in the interest of client safety there is no access to ROOF TERRACE&
BALCONY.
This is a home from home self catering /cleaning/ washing holiday.
House maid can be arranged for 15€ per hour to do cleaning /washing, when required.
Clients staying more then two weeks are recommended to pay
150€ and hire the house maid to clean and wash the linen every two weeks.
