Casa de paz (house of peace) is a very beautiful luxury country villa , with 5 bedrooms sleeping facility ideally for 10, but can accommodate14 ,if the small childs bedroom upstairs is used .
The villa is ideal for a relaxing holiday and activities FOR : Golfers ,Rock climbers/mountaineers and cyclist,hikers,ornithologist... .It is set in over 6000sq m. of its own private grounds with a large swimming pool [ 12m x 6m ] . It has impressive palatial front gates, a long wide drive.There is a orange grove, and many other fruit trees- figs , pomegranate, dates , olives , plumbs, lemon. The car park holds about 10 cars and can also be used for outside games-tennis, basketbasketball, badminton. There are two large plots on each side of the driveway. These can be used for mini football , french boules , patong,.
We have a 70 foot long games room in the grounds which houses the table tennis and other sports equipment.Internally, the villa is furnished to a high standard with all facilities. The main bathroom has a Jacuzzi and a bidet ,and the second bathroom has a bidet and aides for the elderly. The 3rd bathroom is in a building outside the main house and has a walk-in shower , we recommend you use this one after swimming , to avoid slipping on the tiles in the main house..The villa is completely flat throughout which makes it suitable for three generation family holidays!
From the villa there is very easy access to the motorways ; the sea, mountains ,cities & golf are nearby.
ARRIVAL TIME : AFTER 6 PM , IF NEW CLIENTS ARE ARRIVING THE SAME DAY AS THE PREVIOUS CLIENTS ARE LEAVING ,THE VILLA MAY NOT BE READY FOR THE NEW CLIENTS UNTIL 8PM . We recommend you come on the day following after the previous clients have left.

DEPARTURE TIME : 10 AM especially if new clients are arriving the next day.
DEPARTURE TIME : 12 PM FOR ALL CLIENTS. EXCEPTION MAY BE MADE IF NO CLIENTS ARE ARRIVING THE NEXT DAY. DURING THE COVID , or other PANDEMICS
WE ALLOW A MINIMUM OF 24 HOURS BEFORE THE ARRIVAL OF NEW CLIENTS.

Please note it can take one and a half days to do all the laundry, to clean and prepare the beds for the new clients. We request all clients to strip the beds and put all the sheets in the washing machine and start the first wash. Please place all sheets and towels to be washed in the back room by the washing machine. There are two washing machines for the laundry - one is in the outbuilding shower room.
If the villa is left in a poor condition and excessive amount of time is required to do the cleaning , deductions may be made from
the security deposit by VRBO.

Entrance: As you enter the villa grounds there is a wide gate which can be operated manually. The driveway is long and spacious and the car park is enormous allowing lots of space and freedom for children to play safely and securely in a totally enclosed environment. Nets are provided for volley ball, badminton and the lines are drawn over the car park area to play almost 3/4 of a full length tennis court. If possible please bring your own tennis balls and rackets , badminton rackets , and shuttle cocks. There is a very large games room next to the parking bay which houses the table tennis and other games equipment ..
On either side of the driveway there are 2 plots suitable for children’s playing area and and a sand pit is provided .Please rake the sand before use . It tends to harden if it is not used frequently.

The ambience of the villa is so beautiful , you feel you have arrived in paradise.
ROCK CLIMBERS / MOUNTAINEERS , GOLFERS ,CYCLIST , WALKERS AND HIKERS HAVE FOUND THIS AREA IS IDEAL FOR THEIR BASE.
THE EL FONDO IS A WORLD NATURE reserve and is PROTECTED SITE FOR BIRDS AND IS JUST 1.5KM AWAY.
There is a water park in La Marine just a 20 minute drive from the villa and a large water park in Quesda also about 30minute drive.
Elche has a zoo , histirical buildings , mueseums , famous Palm tree park. Please have a

Gardens :
The plot is over 6000sq m. The orange grove has 67 orange trees. Guests are welcome to use the oranges which are in season from November to April and there is a large fruit juicer for your use.PLEASE CLEAN THE JUICER VERY THOROUGHLY AFTER USE. Other fruit trees include 9 olive trees, 2 pomegranates, figs, dates, red berrys and lemons , plumbs .
In a outer building there is a wet room , changing room , and a second washing machine .
SWIMMING POOL :
The swimming pool measures 12 meters by 6 meters and the deepest end is 2 meters deep. There is no child safety barrier around the pool.Please ensure children are supervised by an adult at all times. It is recommended children should have arm bands while playing around the pool.
The safety of children is the responsibility of the holiday guests. The owners can not accept any liability for slips, falls or other accidents.MARBLE STEPS ARE SLIPPERY- especially with wet feet.PLEASE TAKE EXTRA CARE ,and advise children not to run on the steps.
YOU ARE ARE ADVISED TO BRING YOUR EUROPEAN REGISTERED HEALTH CARDS FOR EMERGENCY TREATMENT. IT IS BETTER TO HAVE A FULL HOLIDAY INSURANCE FOR EVERY ONE.
This villa is private rental , liability of the owners will never be more then the total cost of the holiday less any booking charges made by VRBO

There are many fine sandy beaches just 25 minute drive: Santa Pola, La Marina, Guadamar, Torrevieca and Alicante , San Juan , are just some of them.
TV :
SO THAT YOU CAN VIEW YOUR FAVOURITE TV CHANNELS PLEASE BRING YOUR OWN SKY VIEWING CARD.
There is a Smart Samsung TV with internet in the lounge , another TV in the rear kithchen / diner .
We can not guarantee you will pick up all the channels you could in your own house.
INTERNET :
We have broadband wifi internet access for your own laptop.Please telephone the internet provider if you are not getting a good signal.The internet information is on the router in the villa.
RESTAURANTS :
There are 7 restaurants within 2km of the villa.
SHOPPING :
The local mini-market DIAL -PRIX is well stocked with all groceries and off-licence drinks.It is 1.5km from the villa along the cv875 towards Elche. Opening times from Monday to Friday are : 8 am to 2p.m [ 14.00 ] , 4pm to 8 pm
Sunday opening is from 10 am to 2 pm. It may not be open on the numerous public holidays they have in Spain.
Almost opposite the Dial-Prix mini-market is a Bodega / restaurant which sells very nice wines ,5 litres for about 14
euros.
Supermarkets : Carefoure in Elche is open from 8 am to 10 pm from Monday to Friday .On Sunday it is open from 10am to
2pm.
Please look in the information folder in the lounge for more interesting information for the area.
Zoo , Water parks , theme parks are within easy drive from the villa.

It may be possible to arrange regular maid service for 15 euros per hour. The villa will be cleaned after you have left , or on the day of your departure , if new clients are due on the same day.

MOUNTAINS :
Keen rock climbers have found the villa ideal for the local mountains . They have found the low season very suitable and economical for their hobby.
Professional cyclist come to this area from all over europe to train.

For you comfort :
In the summer we recommend you keep the bedroom blinds drawn and keep the windows and bedroom doors open for best circulation and use the air fans for cooling the air. This is more healthy then using the air-conditioning
IF YOU WANT TO USE THE AC THEN PLEASE CLOSE ALL WINDOWS AND DOORS.
For a mosquito free house please keep the exterior doors closed.
There is shortage of electricity supply to the villa. You may find some time there is only enough electric for one
a/c unit - use the one in the lounge.
Also we recommend you use the gas cookers. . If the electric oven and microwave are used together
this may 'trip' the electric.Reduce appliances in use and Turn the switch back on from the fuse panel by the front door.
BALCONY & TERRACE UPSTAIRS : Please note in the interest of client safety there is no access to ROOF TERRACE&
BALCONY.
This is a home from home self catering /cleaning/ washing holiday.
House maid can be arranged for 15€ per hour to do cleaning /washing, when required.
Clients staying more then two weeks are recommended to pay
150€ and hire the house maid to clean and wash the linen every two weeks.

Fantastic outdoor space

Amazing pool and outdoor space. 10 of us stayed and it never felt too cramped or busy outside. Not many sunbeds to say villa sleeps so many but we had a few that preferred chairs in the shade so were OK. Didn't use upstairs room as too hot so two girls stayed on the futon in one of lounges which was perfectly comfortable. Great communication from owner and from a friendly neighbour who recommended places to eat and helped when we had a power cut!

We had a brilliant week at Casa De Paz. We are two families with teens/young adults, there were 13 in our group in total and it was exactly what we were looking for. Within easy reach of affordable supermarkets, beaches, places to visit, and such a great place to spend a relaxed week of family holidays. We loved how spacious and well equipped the villa was, and appreciated all the sports equipment and options of things to do! We played volleyball, table tennis, basketball, fusball, and of course spent hours and hours in the pool and on the terrace. It was great having so much space and various options within the house for those who wanted some inside time. The BBQ was great for outdoor cooking, the bedrooms were all comfortable and the air conditioning units very helpful in the middle of August! Communication with Peter was clear and he gave us advice on travel, local attractions, places to visit and shop etc. He connected us with helpful people to assist during our stay (pool maintenance, cleaner for check-in/check-out etc), and was really kind in letting us do a late check out which made the final day of our holiday really smooth and enjoyable. The details shared in advance of the trip were really useful. The only aspects for improvement would be a few more additions of kitchen equipment (there were no scissors and the chopping knives were mainly blunt), and for items to be cleaner on arrival (much of it needed to be washed before use).

We were a party of 10 with 2 families. The property is spacious and very well equipped. There was plenty room for all of us. The location is great for exploring, and really peaceful. We were slightly worried by reviews about the air con but found the whole house stayed cool with just one air con in the back kitchen and the shutters closed during the day and we just used bedroom air con in evenings for sleeping. The outside space of the property is fabulous and the pool is amazing. We were rarely in the house! There was plenty of sun loungers and sports activities to keep everyone amused. Excellent communication with the owners before and during our trip. Would totally recommend this property and would definitely return.

What a wonderful villa. Fantastic holiday!

We are three families, 11 in total. We have had two weeks of pure bliss. The Casa De Paz is a beautiful villa. It is in a fantastic location. It is in a lovely quiet area, so, is very private. But the beauty of it is, is that you do not have to travel far to surrounding, more commercialised areas. It's half an hour from Alicante airport, so therefore Alicante. We found lovely clean beaches within 30 - 40 mins drive. San Juan Beach is beautiful. We visited Benidorm and a waterpark there for the children. Actually two weeks was not long enough to experience every place in the surrounding areas, as we didn't want to leave the villa! The villa was very clean and homely, with it's fantastic large pool. We spent lovely evenings sitting outside the kids were even in the pool at 10.00pm! The kids also loved the games room, internet, and the sky tv!We had never been on a villa holiday before and enjoyed the fact that we had no annoying guests to put up with (like in a hotel!!). We would definately recommend Casa De Paz and will be back in the near future. We found the customer sevice excellent. Every request or query had a quick response. The information we were sent before our holiday, by Peter and Daisy was brilliant. Thank you Peter and Daisy for a wonderful holiday. The Taylor, Owen and Ellis famillies. (wish we were still there!!)

I am one of the party who stayed in the Villa before LUCY J and her family arrived. We are quite insulted that Lucy J has stated they found the Villa dirty as I can honestly say we did more than enough cleaning through out our stay and more importantly on the morning we were due to leave as we were very grateful that our late departure was being accommodated. I can confirm that the Villa was not dirty. We kept on top of cleaning the Villa through out our stay. We swept and mopped the whole Villa on the Sunday and then again on the Tuesday morning. We were up at 7am that morning with ALL bedding was washed and hung out before the cleaner arrived around 10am and all towels that we used were put in the wash before we left at 3pm ish. The cleaner had done 80% of her clean by lunch time with only some beds to be made, the kitchen and the hall way to be cleaned. We didn't use the bathrooms after 10am so couldn't tell you if she had cleaned them but can 100% say there were not that bad, as we also cleaned these during our stay. Wild dogs? as far as we know a little dog from next door wondered around early one evening but was lead away easily and never saw it again. On to our stay, we found the Villa to be ideal for what we wanted. Lovely grounds, perfect for the kids to play tennis, table tennis and just to explore when they needed a break from the pool, the pool was great. There were a few issues regarding air con in the up stairs room but Juan did his best to get it sorted once we had reported it. The villa could be modernised a bit inside I guess but in no way did this affect our stay. We would defiantly consider staying here again and if we were to suggest one thing, maybe it would be better if Juan and the cleaner spoke a little English as communication with them was a bit tricky. Thanks to Peter and Daisy for letting us stay in you Villa, we will recommend this to our friends and family.

Belle villa à la campagne

Nous avons passé un excellent séjour. La villa est grande et conforme au descriptif. Nous avons regretté l'absence d'entretien de la piscine la première semaine (vacances du responsable ). Le propriétaire joignable a tout moment nous a tout expliqué afin d'éviter la dégradation de l'eau. Toutes les clim fonctionnaient mais certaines mériteraient un bon entretien. Le disjoncteur a souvent sauté, l'électricité étant très utilisée. L'endroit est magnifique, d'un calme absolu et les voisins super sympa. Merci Peter et Daisy

La casa es maravillosa,se está muy muy cómodo,es muy confortable,hemos estado tan agusto que nos hubiéramos quedado a cuidar de ella😂😂😂😂 Por dentro es muy amplia y los exteriores también, por la noche se duerme de maravilla. Si buscas tranquilidad y comodidad este es tu sitio. Eso sí, procura ir con un grupo grande de gente porque sino no podrás pagarla, no es cara si se ocupa al completo o casi, pero nosotros hemos sido tres personas casi todo el tiempo, en una casa preparada para unas 14. Volveríamos ya!!! Pero no podremos volver a costearnos estar en un sitio tan bonito y lujoso. Al menos lo hemos vivido y con eso nos quedamos. Gracias Peter & Daisy!!!! 💖

Nous avons passés 18 jours de bonheur dans cette propriété. Nous étions 17 personnes. 11 enfants de 5 ans à 18 ans. Et 5 adultes. La maison est assez grande pour que l'on ne se sente pas les uns sur les autres. Et les 3 grandes salles de bains étaient parfaites pour un groupe comme le notre. Il y a tous les équipements nécessaires. Toutes les pièces de vie sont climatisées. La propriété est conforme à la description. Un grande salle de jeux pour les enfants. Deux grands terrain clôturés et un grand parking que l'on peut utiliser avec des marquages au sol pour jouer au tennis, badminton... Des arbres fruitiers. Nous avons eu la chance de manger de très bonnes figues et des grenades. Malheureusement ce n'était pas la bonne période pour les oranges. Les enfants se sont amusés à observer tous les insectes et les petits lézards qui passaient nous faire un petit coucou. Le bruits des cigales le matin est un pur plaisir. La piscine est très très grande. Idéale pour un groupe comme le notre. Le propriétaire est très disponible et réactif. Joignable seulement par téléphone, mais il a toujours répondu à nos appels. Nous avons vraiment passer un merveilleux séjour dans un petit cocon retiré, et à la fois proche de tous les commerces. Je recommande cette propriété sans hésitation. C'est une adresse que nous garderons pour nos vacances en Espagne.

Disappointing!

It was disappointing that there was no one in the house when we arrived Saturday night. For the commissioning of the equipment, the heating and the hot water supply a briefing would have been important. The owner in England was unreachable for us by phone and did not answer to messages on his answering machine. We were obviously the first guests of the season, as the house was not properly prepared. The heating of the air conditioners did not work except for one room. The water boiler was not correctly adjusted, so that we could only have lukewarm showers for three days. The fuses kept popping out during the whole stay without any reason. The whole house smelled of gas. The pots and pans were dirty when we arrived and there was still some rotting food in the dishwasher. The window in the bathroom fell towards us as we tried to open it to air the room. As a matter of fact, the house is not really suitable for guests in the "cold" season for the reasons mentioned here. The caretaker only showed up after three days, after we had a complaint e-mail forwarded through the agency. He regulated the water boiler and set it to the cold outside temperature so that we got finally some hot water. He also called the craftsman for the window in the bathroom, who at least made a makeshift repair. He also supplied us with fan heaters and individual radiators so that the rooms could be heated. Nevertheless the electricity failed several times in the evening. We were all disappointed by the equipment of the house. The furniture, the kitchen appliances, pots and cutlery are shabby and worn. This is really not how we had imagined the so-called "luxury villa". We will certainly not come back.

Lovely holiday, great Villa

Cannot praise this highly enough. Often the website images don't live up to the reality when you arrive - not so in this case. This villa is gorgeous. Spacious, extremely well equipped, very clean when we arrived - and no excuses for not keeping it clean throughout yous stay as there is ample supply of mops / brush and pan etc. We enjoyed a really lovely 2 weeks in this fantastic villa. The owner was very helpful, the janitor came a couple of times a week and although we had no Spanish we managed to communicate with him very well through his very efficient use of google translate app on his phone. I would highly recommend this lovely villa. Thank you Peter for a truly lovely holiday.

Heaven on Earth

We went there for my 30th birthday. This villa has come so perfect for us. We have had the best time. Everything is there, a giant swimming pool with a delicious temperature, a stone bbq, beautiful nature all around, AC in the bedrooms, 100 of kitchen equipment, nothing is missing. Owners are so kind and accommodating. Pictures don't do justice to this place. It is only 20 minutes by car from the airport and the nearest beaches. Thank you Peter!

Wonderful stay!

As a group of eleven we were amazed at how spacious this villa was. It had everything you could need and more! It was a peaceful area and a lovely place for a relaxing holiday. The kids absolutely loved the pool and spent most of the time in it! A games area where we played tennis and table tennis competitions of an evening, which was very entertaining. We hired cars and were able to pop locally to Supermarkets to stock up and to have the odd day out but if you want a get away from it all, relaxing holiday, this is the place!😀

Very enjoyable family holiday

We rented the villa for a very special birthday. Our party included all ages from baby to grandparents. We found the villa to be very clean and comfortable. All the windows had fly screens which was a big bonus as mosquitoes tend to like biting us. The pool was always a lovely temperature and we all enjoyed swimming, diving for toys and playing games every day. The villa itself was spacious and although there were several of us we didn't feel cramped at all. The washing machines were a boon especially for the younger ones and we had daily family tennis, 5 a side and table football tournaments...All thanks to the games room being fully equipped. The presence of 3 bathrooms meant we had ample bathing facilities. We enjoyed our opportunities to sit together at meal times or relax on the veranda on the warm evenings. I would advise having a car, especially for getting groceries etc although there are a few restaurants around. We had a lovely meal at Monumental. From the villa, there is easy(car) access to Santa Pola(beach) la marina for beach and market. Gran Alacant(dining out) and a very large shopping centre called Eroski which has a multitude of shop/eateries and a large supermarket. The roads are all good and the airport is easily reached(by car) as taxi is expensive from there to the villa. We found the owners to be very gracious and helpful at all times before and indeed since our stay.

Beautiful place for our group visit

It was great to be able to visit Casa de Paz again - this time as part of a group. The house was sufficiently spacious and adaptable to accommodate 14 of us and we made good use of the beautifully kept pool area and being able to have meals on the veranda. The lounge was big enough for us all when we met together in the evening. The weather was too good for us to need to use the large games room. Last time I was there we were only able to get around by cycling or walking but enjoyed that. This time, having a hire car from the airport opened up more opportunities to explore. The house is an easy drive from the motorway. Often we just wanted to stay at the villa to enjoy relaxing in such a beautiful place with figs, pomegranates and a few dates available on site.

Lovely Holiday

It was very nice at this Villa of Mr Randhawa (Peter) & Daisy. Everyone loved it. Thankyou to them both for letting us spend 9 days there. The swimming pool was used every single day of our holiday by all of us. The attractions that were there was between 20 to 55 minutes away, they weren't far at all. Segways is a good experience to do when you are out there. Loved it. Badatch Family & Khatkar Family. XXX

Great location for family get together

We thoroughly enjoyed out stay in Elche. We enjoyed the villa and sight-seeing in the Alicante region. Villa was well-equipped, ideal for an extended family holiday. The villa was clean with plenty of bedding, towels and fans. The pool area was clean with ample seats and loungers. Children enjoyed using the pool floats and toys. The dining areas in the kitchen, living room and covered veranda area were ideal. The games room had a variety of games and bikes which the family made use of. Information leaflets and a guest book were useful for organizing days out. There was a wide range of board games, but due to our jam packed schedule, we did not make use of them. All rooms had air-conditioning but some controls were not working. The attic room was perfect for four people but the spiral staircase made it difficult for access for some members of our family. The room was too hot and the air-conditioner was not working so four members slept on the floor using the extra bedding in the living area. Dishwasher did not clean dishes so we washed dishes by hand all week. Some concerns about safety arose during our stay - the multiple power cuts during the night posed a hazard to our elderly and younger members (The care-taker came out very late one night when we called due to a pro-longed power cut), and the loose tiles in the kitchen just missed injuring my foot. One loose tile caused other tiles to fall off.

I am semi-retired . My wife Daisy is retired but is a full time grandmother to four young grand children.
We visit the villa frequently with the family to enjoy the sunshine and to escape the British winter.
The villa is ideal for a family or a multi-family holiday.
The children [and adults ],have such a great time they never want to go home when the holiday is finished.

Why they chose this property

We had been to the Costa Blanca many times and decided it is a great place to have a property. After a very long search we found the holiday home of our dreams.
We have everything we could wish for in this villa .All other facilities are near by.

What makes this property unique


WHO -the World Health organisation has classifed this area to be one of the most healthy places in the world . The area is full of palm trees , grape vines , pomegranetes, oranges and lemon trees.
We have 65 orange trees , 9 olive trees , fig trees , dates and palm trees.
The 6000 square meter plot [ 1 1/2 acres ] provides us with all the space we want .
When we go to the villa from the UK we feel we have arrived in paradise.
Just a short two hour flight from London brings us away from the
wet cold winter of the UK to a very pleasant place in the sun.
The climate is benign in winter 12-18c, sunny almost every day , very pleasant in Springtime , and hot in the summer.
Some years the pool is 22-24c in late March!
The birds sing for you from early morning to sunset.
The villa manager / janitor is English and comes twice a week to clean the pool . His contact details are available in the villa for any emergencies . The cleaner is Margarita and lives next door at number 13. Our Friends at number 16 are English , and very helpful in emergencies.
