Enjoy the beautiful views of the surrounding mountains and nearby Harney Range. Paved roads lead all the way to this home with a double garage. It is just a stroll down the hill to “Major Lake” for fishing, or to access the Mickelson Hiking/Biking Trail and Hill City’s Main Street.

Iron horse: the invention of coal and steam powered locomotives replaced horse drawn wagons to expedite the transport of goods across the plains. They were dubbed “iron horses”.
Sluice run: during the black hills gold rush of the 1870’s miners ored the gold and washed it down gullies by the way of a water channel controlled by a gate called a sluice.
