In an exclusive location in Warnemünde, right on the Alter Strom, across from the marina, with a magnificent panoramic view of the harbor entrance and the lighthouses, the approximately 74 m² "Sonnenaufgang" vacation apartment on the top floor is available for your stay. From our vacation apartment, you’ll enjoy views of the Alter Strom with its fishing boats, the ships of the “Weiße Flotte,” and sailboats from all over Europe, all the way to the new marina. Dear guests, welcome! We offer you a cozy, well-furnished vacation apartment in the beautiful Baltic Sea resort of Warnemünde, just 50 m from the Baltic Sea beach.

This is where the large Scandinavian ferries and magnificent cruise ships from all over the world, as well as freighters, coastal motor vessels, tankers, fishing boats, and sailing and motor yachts, sail to Rostock, the overseas port, or back out to sea. They all pass right by the window. Beyond that, the view extends to the new “Hohe Düne” marina and across the Bay of Mecklenburg all the way to Markgrafenheide, taking in the long sandy beach and the pine forests of the Rostock Heath, which stretch right down to the shore. It’s the perfect spot for a hike or bike ride. Or you can simply step outside to one of the many restaurants or cafés, enjoy the sun and the unique atmosphere along the river. Or take a stroll through the boutiques and let yourself drift all the way to the end of the pier. Here, everyone can choose what suits them best and feel right at home. In the morning, you’ll be awakened by the sun, the squawking seagulls, and the chugging of the fishing boats. And in the evening, when the setting sun bathes the Alter Strom in red light, you can sit back and relax on the balcony and simply enjoy a nice glass of wine.

The “Sonnenaufgang” 3-room apartment on the 3rd floor is furnished for 2 to 3 people and features a large living room with a TV, free Wi-Fi, an open kitchen, and a small front balcony with a breathtaking view. The kitchen is fully equipped. One bedroom has a double bed, and another bedroom has a small double sofa bed. In the bathroom with shower and hair dryer, you can also use the washing machine. The vacation apartment is reserved for non-smokers.

The initial amenities for the apartment include one linen package per person,
(included in the final invoice price: bed linens, towels, dish towels, shower mat).

The building is located in a pedestrian zone.

Bakeries, restaurants, shops, bike rentals, the beach, the promenade, Alter Strom, etc.—everything is just around the corner.


At Friedrich-Barnewitz-Str. 9, you can rent secure parking spaces from us starting at 6 €/night.

Adults aged 15 and older: 3.70 €/day
Severely disabled (50% or more): 1.45 €/day
Children ages 6–14: 1.45 €/day
Exempt from visitor’s tax: Severely disabled 80% or higher, accompanying persons—only if the person with a severe disability is 100% disabled and has a registered disability certificate
Children up to 5 years old, business travelers, athletes, conference participants, travelers in transit, locals

Additional services available upon request for a separate fee, bookable directly with the rental company:
