This brand new holiday apartment offers a beautiful view above Merano (Meran) and is situated in the vineyards between Lagundo (Algund) and Tirolo (Dorf Tirol) near the castle Schloss Tirol, the namesake of the region. The new-build apartment opens in summer 2021 and consists of a living room, a well-equipped kitchen with dishwasher, 2 bedrooms as well as one bathroom and can therefore accommodate 4 people. Additional amenities include Wi-Fi (suited for video calls), cable/satellite television, a safe, baby bed and a highchair (both on request). Outside, there is a private covered terrace and balcony, as well as a shared garden with a wonderful view of the vineyards and the city below. The apartment is perfectly situated for hiking, with the Meraner Waalrunde directly in front of the house, the Römerweg just 200m away, a culture trail through the forest on site and the Algunder Waalweg only a 10minute walk away. There is also a Buschenschank open during the summer serving traditional South Tyrolean dishes. The nearest bakeries and supermarkets are in the center of Merano, which is just 15 minutes by car (5km) away. Public transportation into the city is also available, with a bus stop 400m away. The nearest airport is in Innsbruck, which is 2 hours and 30 minutes (160km) away by car.
