BEWARE OF MISLEADING PHOTOS. You access the property up steep stairs without any railings to open the front door into a bedroom/bathroom. There is a deck and those wire railings are cut. HUGE SAFETY ISSUES! If you want to use the kitchen/living area, you must walk out the front door and around the outside to get to the lower level kitchen/living. All of the outside photos are not current. Very deceiving. I paid for 3 nights plus a cleaning fee and missed the 1st night due to travel plans. Arrived for the 2nd night and immediately notified the host that it was unacceptable and I would not be staying there. I also could not get the door to lock. I requested a refund due to the condition and safety for 2 nights and the cleaning fee which was not used which was reasonable. He refused. I had to dispute the charge with my credit card company. The city of Van Alstyne has been notified that it has safety concerns as well.
