Worth seeing are the minerally-rich habachtal with its emerald mine, the Hollersbachtal, the Unter- and Obersulzbachtal and of course the Krimmler waterfalls (the highest in Europe). The approx. 50 km long Tauernradwanderweg invites you to explore the landscape. Walk in the heart of nature and let yourself be enchanted. Bringing nature in and exercise - that is the motto for a holiday in the Vakanta Wildkogel, in the most beautiful open air fitness studio in Austria. Walking is definitely the best way to explore the mountains. Especially with families, the highlights are walking paths that run through the Kitzbühel Alps and the Hohe Tauern. The high-altitude Wildkogel walking area promises the best view of the Hohe Tauern National Park. If you like cozy, you can comfortably go up with the 6-person gondola the mountain.
