This Palm Springs vacation villa is a fantastic retreat in the peaceful Los Compadres neighborhood. Contemporary, modern, and stylish, it's a perfect fit for those looking to unwind and enjoy the Palm Springs sunshine poolside. Walk through the breezeway between the home and the garage to the backyard, where a glistening pool and spa beckon you to relax and let your cares slip away. Stretch out on one of the chaise lounges and soak up that Palm Springs sun while being surrounded by a lush green lawn and mature citrus trees, including lemon and grapefruit. The backyard faces west, framing a picturesque view of the San Jacinto Mountains, and there's an outdoor dining space for eight under the covered patio, as well as a propane barbeque for preparing and enjoying meals al fresco. Once inside this 1, 600 square foot Palm Springs hideaway, the natural light streams into the main living space through the large windows and glass doors, offering a bright and open feeling. The furnishings are contemporary and sleek, with a dash of modern for that Palm Springs vibe. The main seating area is a great place to gather friends and family around the gas fireplace or to enjoy a movie on the 42' TV with a DVD player. The open floor plan makes spending time together easy, as the living room, dining room, and kitchen are all open to each other.

WHAT'S NEARBY
Perched in a convenient location equidistant from the hustle and bustle of downtown and the Palm Springs International Airport, you will have no problem soaking up the best of this desert city. Start each morning with a cup of coffee from Koffi on the way over to the various trails at Tahquitz Canyon just three miles away. When you want to check out the core of downtown, head down Palm Canyon Drive and explore the fun shops, tasty restaurants, and art exhibits. For some fun away from the city, Joshua Tree National Park and Mount San Jacinto State Park are both closeby for a day trip!

-Outdoor music is prohibited. Music that is played indoors must not be heard outdoors. City ordinance states that any music that is audible from the property line is a violation. People noise during the day is permissible but must be measured and reasonable. Daytime is considered 10:00 am to 10:00 pm.
-The utility deposit is $1,500 for 28 nights with $375 added for each additional week the guest stays.

Great Palm Springs Weekend

The house has a great layout including the backyard pool and barbaque area. The garage was also very nice to have. Pool amenities were great including the lounge chairs and tables, umbrellas, nice pool towels and rafts. Nicely decorated in the mid-century modern style, and in a great neighborhood with similar style houses. We would definitely stay there again.

Wonderful property!

The home is located on a quiet cul-de-sac with plenty of space for your family to enjoy. It was very clean with all the amenities. The pool was relaxing. Outside space was peaceful. The home is dog friendly and the yard had plenty of space for them to romp. Would definitely rebook!

Great One Story with a Pool

Super clean home with a well-equipped kitchen. There were an abundance of towels for poolside activities and the check in process was smooth. The WiFi was decent in house but it did not extend to the pool area. Overall this was a great experience.

Top of the List!

My wife and I commend the owner and Vacasa for providing a beautiful home for our six day vacation which was very enjoyable. The house was modern, well-maintained, private, in a quiet neighborhood. We experienced only a couple of problems which were resolved promptly by the Vacasa Staff.

The home was clean and spacious. My family and dog had enough room to move, play eat and swim all in 1. I highly recommend this place if you want a private all inclusive house that is very family oriented and sharing. 5 star review here.

Family vacation

We really enjoyed the space. It had a lot of room for my family of five. It was clean. The properly is a bit outdated but was comfortable. The pool was such a nice treat in the heat. There was swim floaties to use. The only issue we had was we found little ants in the toaster when we went to use it. I addressed it with the manager and they replied quickly.

Quiet home away from home with a nice view

This was my first time using Vrbo (i.e. Vacasa). Despite the check-in process being a little more confusing than other vacation rental services I've used, the stay itself was great. Even though the pictures on the listing were obviously edited/touched up, but the property was pretty much as shown. The neighborhood was quiet and in a good, convenient location. The house itself was obviously showed a little wear and tear, but it served it's purpose. We would definitely stay here again. Maybe next time we'll use the pool/jacuzzi.

Palm Springs Pleasantry

The property overall was nice and as pictured. The only negatives would be some of the obvious stains on walls and cabinets and the dust. It could have been cleaner, and my entire family was attacked by what I can only assume were mosquitoes, while enjoying the beautiful and private backyard and pool! Just make sure you have good insect repellant and soothing itch cream. We did enjoy our stay however. The good truly outweighed the bad and given a little attention to detail, we would definitely stay here again.

We loved the house , but with that said when you are paying close to $ 500.- per day plus heating the pool $ 400.- you expect a better appearance. Kitchen cabinets are falling apart , tiles in the pool are missing , lack of landscaping . I thing to invest a couple of dollars wouldn’t hurt . House is clean our dog loved it but it needs love .

Overall the house was clean and equipped with everything we needed with the exception of face cloths. Large TV was provided in the living room, very small TV in the master but no TV in the other 2 bedrooms. No information was provided to set house alarm. We did experience a small invasion of very tiny ants in the kitchen sink area. The bottom of doors going out to the pool area were not properly sealed causing a baby ? Lizard to enter. Overall, a nice house. The pool was great except on the day that both the Gardner and pool person arrived on the same day. Pool person cleaned the pool in the morning but the Gardner came after , blowing grass and debris in the pool enabling us from getting back in the pool before sun down. There was no covered parking for your car. Temperature in the 100’s.
