Air conditioning did not work properly. Two window units in the home. One in the living room and one in the dining room. The one in the dinning room was blowing air but not cold. The bedrroms had no ac and the bathroom felt like a sauna. We ended up leaving the property after 5 hours. We were scheduled 7 nights. The owner offered to refund about 10 percent of the cost of the week. After 3 days, many calls and emails to vrbo totaling about 9 hours of my time, I was able to get a 50% refund. It was that or nothing is what I was told. There were other opportunities with the property. Duct tape holding up part of the ceiling in the dinning room. Half buried half exposed wires in the backyard. Several more opportunities as well. The night of check in the owner asked us to give him an hour to contact his property manager and he would contact us back. When he didnt call after an hour and 15 minutes I called VRBO. They were unable to reach him. The next day he spoke to vrbo in the morning and when I responded to him, he didnt respond again for close to 10 hours. Do not rent this property as the owner does not care about anything but taking your money. He does not care about you or the condition of his property.

We feel it is necessary to firmly correct the record here, as this review is entirely inaccurate. Our AC units are in perfect working order and provide excellent cooling throughout the property. The discomfort you experienced was simply a result of standing directly in front of a hot stove while cooking is to be understood by most. Furthermore, your claim that we only care about money is completely false. Our stated policy is a strict 0% refund after check-in. Despite this, we chose to be incredibly generous and voluntarily authorized a refund for a stay that lasted several days. To receive a dishonest review after we bent our own rules to return your money is deeply disappointing. We take great pride in our property and our hospitality, but we expect honesty and mutual respect from our guests. You will not be welcomed back to any of our properties.
