I am both a traveler and a VRBO host. My family and I love to travel - we've been to many countries and stayed in many places along the way, so I know exactly what makes a place feel like home (and what doesn't). I love to bring all that experience into hosting our guests. My goal is simple: to make our guests' stay as comfortable and hassle-free as possible!

My husband and I first discovered Cortez years ago when our kids were little. We kept coming back for the same reasons - the unhurried, laid-back vibe, the quaint historic homes, the water everywhere you look and honestly, the incredible seafood at Starfish Company. When this beautiful old cottage became available, it felt like it was meant to be.

Lou Lou's has a very unique story. Built by boat builders over 100 years ago, she's survived two major hurricanes and is still standing strong - because when fishermen build something, they build it to last. She's on the National Register of Historic Places, and and one point in her life, 12 people at one time called this little cottage home. You can feel that history the moment you walk in.
