The nearest town, Aulla, is only 6 km away. Here you will find restaurants and shopping and you can visit the 15th century fortress Fortezza della Brunella. It stands on a rocky outcrop where the two rivers meet. The vacation home is perfectly located for excursions to the Cinque Terre and Garfagnana, where castles and fortresses are worth a visit.
