Comfortable and clean with a reverse floor plan. Exciting encounter with Mom bear and two cubs just outside our townhouse in a tall tree. Peek view of majestic lake. Nice walkable location. Recommend.

What a delightful experience you had, Carolyn! Encountering a bear and her cubs right outside your townhouse must have been quite the adventure. We truly enjoyed our stay- the property was within steps of the beach and pool! The views were amazing with beautiful sunsets over the lake each evening! The beds were all very comfortable. There were only a few details that affected our stay. Some affected our stay in small ways (i.e a 10-digit door code that needed to be entered very quickly to work- & it’s just challenging to remember 10 digits ). Other details had a larger impact; the properties do not have a/c and each day it would heat up to 80 degrees inside (even warmer in the top loft)- it would take hours with windows open and fans blowing to get it to cool down! The last difficulty we had was with the dryer in this unit- it was VERY loud- so loud we couldn’t even be inside when it was running! I reached out to the property manager multiple times, but it was not repaired during our stay. Hopefully this will not be an issue for future renters as repair service was scheduled for a later date. One other exciting detail- we didn’t see any bears on our journey through Yosemite- but we had a bear encounter just outside this unit!! A large brown bear found a late night snack on a neighbor’s porch and leisurely ate all he could. He did not seem bothered one bit by the humans around him, but everyone kept their distance! Overall, a great stay in Tahoe!

We understand how a 10-digit code can be a bit tricky, and we’re always looking for ways to make the check-in process smoother. As for the lack of air conditioning, we know that can be a challenge during warmer days, and we’re sorry for any discomfort that caused. We’re committed to ensuring our homes are as comfortable as possible, and we’ll take your comments into account as we continue to improve. We also apologize for the noise from the dryer. That shouldn’t have happened, and we appreciate you bringing it to our attention. We’re glad to hear that repair service was scheduled, and we hope future guests will have a quieter experience.
