A traditional, well-maintained farmhouse with an active farming operation. Nestled in the beautiful foothills of the Alps in the Chiemgau/Rupertiwinkel region, our isolated farm stands on a hill overlooking Waging am See. The farm is home to cows, calves, cats, sheep, and our dog “Heidi.”
Many well-known sights and destinations are within easy reach. Some examples include: Salzburg, Berchtesgaden, Königssee, the Chiemgau Alps, Chiemsee, Burghausen, Altötting, and more.
Idyllic little swimming lakes in the immediate vicinity (Waginger See, Tachinger See, Weidsee, Leitgeringer See, Fridolfinger Baggersee, Höglwörther See) offer tranquility and beautiful hiking trails.
A leisurely bike ride or a challenging mountain bike trail up to the alpine pasture......our area features a varied, well-marked network of bike trails. You’re welcome to store your own bikes in our lockable “Radlstadl.”

Our new, comfortably furnished vacation apartment accommodates at least 3 people. The bright, sunny rooms are tastefully and elegantly furnished and leave nothing to be desired. We, the Breitwieser and Eglseer families, are very fortunate to live in this beautiful corner of the world. The first documented mention of our estate dates back to before the year 1189. The farm has been in our family since around 1600. We are a typical, family-run farm with dairy cows, a forest, and a farmstay program.
