Holiday house with swimming pool near the Gorges du Verdon – 666 TAV

This holiday home is located in a very quiet residential area just 500m from the centre of the village of Tavernes. You can pick up your bread on foot, order your aperitif at the local café and watch the locals play pétanque.<br><br>Environment<br>Set in a vast agricultural plain planted with vineyards and olive trees, Tavernes has retained its rural atmosphere. Almost all the houses on the main street have magnificent entrance doors. They are distinguished by their size, shape, colour and knockers and all have their own identity. Tavernes is only a 20-minute drive from the Verdon Gorges and is a good starting point for exploring the area.<br><br>Garden and land<br>A beautiful fenced garden with 2 parking spaces and a swimming pool (10x5m) for personal use awaits you. You have two terraces to the left and right of the house, where you can enjoy your meals. The trees around the pool provide plenty of shade. Sun loungers and a summer sofa with cushions are available for you to rest and sunbathe.<br><br>The property<br>First floor<br>After walking through the entrance, you find yourself directly in the bright and pleasant living and dining room. To the left you will find a comfortable sofa, two armchairs, satellite TV and a large fireplace. Opposite is a beautiful glass dining table. Further on, to the left, you enter the open and very well equipped kitchen, where you can also have breakfast. From here, a bay window opens onto one of the two terraces.<br>Through a horizontal corridor you arrive on the left in the first bedroom with a double bed and a work table, opposite a separate toilet, a shower, another bedroom with a double bed. On the far right, after 3 short steps, you discover a last room that can be transformed into a third bedroom thanks to its sofa bed. This bedroom also has a small sink, a TV and direct access to the swimming pool. It can also be used as a playroom for children.<br><br>Practical information<br>Pets<br>A maximum of one pet is allowed (additional price of 40€ per stay, to be paid on site).<br><br>Good to know<br>You also have a washing machine. Your friendly and discreet hostess stays in front of the house, in a separate small house with her own entrance. She knows her area inside out and can therefore give you real insider tips for your holiday.
