Welcome to Vintage 1970’s-complete with original dirt. A 4 star resort isn’t necessary to make my stay enjoyable. The view and pool were amazing, but I’m not sure this condo has ever been sanitized.-the cook pans are unsafe. The teflon is grated from decades of use- the tan shag carpets in the bedrooms and family room were so black, I didn’t want to walk without shoes-the secondary bedroom had a ceiling leak which resulted in a mold & mildew spot-the ceiling fan blades were covered in dust-crumbs littered the top of the toaster from the previous tenants-the 1970’s sofas were grimey. I can only imagine the bacteria and mites living in them-we didn’t sit on them.-the tile floor grout is caked with decades of buildup-the white dining room chairs caked with food & dirt-the main bathroom glass & shower wall under the soap dish were covered in soap scum. The shower tile floors also need a deep clean. The toilet bowl cleaning brush was brown and it’s container had black mold spots inside-all bed pillows were flat and useless and piled on the dirty carpet inside the closet floor-on top of the gross old mattresses, were mattress toppers-we found used towels under our bed and a pair of child’s underwear in the dryer lint trapThe host company was very responsive (verbally) to my comments. The outsourced sheets and towels were clean. The unit provided two rolls of TP, paper towels, dish soap, laundry detergent, a sponge, trash bags, body wash, shampoo & conditioner.
