Boasting antiques, rustic decor, and rich wooden features, this charming vacation rental features a full kitchen with stainless steel appliances, a large dining table with seating for at least eight guests, and a comfortable living area with a bar and a wall-mounted flatscreen TV. Outside, enjoy views of the lake off the wraparound balcony, or head downstairs and dine by the water at the table and chairs. And with a private beach in a no wake zone, you can spend relaxing afternoons in the sun or playing in the water. What's nearby: Wake up to the sounds and beautiful sights of Island Lake, one of several lakes that make up the Manitowish Waters. Spider Lake is a 278-acre lake with fish that include musky, bass, northern pike, and walleye. Whether you spend your day fishing, paddling around the lake, or just sampling a flight at Some Nerve Brewing Company located a little over a mile west, you're certain to have a truly relaxing vacation here at On the Rocks. THINGS TO KNOW No washer/dryer The family dog is welcome to come along There is a dock for guest use by the fire pit Please note: the boathouse itself is not accessible Please note: the owners occasionally access the boathouse below the cabin to get their boat out. For your safety, please be aware that there is a large hazard rock in the water about two yards from the beach This property is managed by Vacasa Wisconsin LLC.

A Great Lake Experience!

What fun it was to stay at On the Rocks! Loved being right on the upper deck as boats go by(slowly- it's a "no wake" zone)- endlessly entertaining, as was the wildlife - otters, fox, ducks, deer. The main areas are attractive and very roomy and clean. Kitchen is very well equipped; AC worked well especially in the main rooms. Owner - and Vacasa - were very helpful and responsive.

We enjoyed our stay at On the Rocks. The location is beautiful and we saw so many things from the house. We have a video of a large black bear swimming across the channel, eagles literally flew right by the windows, and the fishing at dusk is great right from the house. The place had everything we needed in the kitchen. The size was great for our family and visitors. We have 2 sons and we other visitors throughout the week. It is a little difficult to find. You need to keep going even past a couple of no trespassing signs.

Great views and setting

Very nicely decorated property with fantastic views out the windows. This property is not huge, but has enough space to enjoy the north woods and spend time together. House is at the VERY end of the road (past the No Trespassing signs), so it is a pretty quiet setting. The views from the deck and windows is great because you can see the channel and the lake. Kitchen is well equipped with everything you need, and the bathrooms were equipped with towels, and toiletries (shampoo, conditioner, soap). The only reason that I am giving it 4 stars instead of 5 stars is because the WIFI wasn’t working when we were there. Unfortunately I had some unexpected work things come up that I needed to deal with and the WIFI wasn’t working. The sellers and Vacasa was great about trying to get people there to fix it, but unfortunately it wasn’t fixed when we left. We made it thru, but it would have been so much easier if the WIFI had been working for us. Swimming is relatively shallow near the shore, which was great for our 5 year old. He also really enjoyed waiving at and talking to the boats that were passing thru the channel! Overall a really nice family memory.
