The photos don't do the home justice. It is larger than it looks in the pics.

Very well kept and spacious. We enjoyed our stay and the proximity to many great cross-country ski trails. The ping pong table is not usable so don't count on evening ping pong tournaments.

We stayed for a snowmobile trip, and we were very happy with the property!

  • 5 of 5

The property was very close to the snowmobile trail, which was convenient for us. Very nice house with plenty of space for 9 of us. Nice view, and clean. We would definitely stay there again!

Wonderful Up North Experience!

  • 5 of 5

My husband and I enjoyed a wonderful winter get-away at the Cedar Hideaway. Spacious and charming with all the conveniences of home, in a beautiful north woods setting. Clean and very well kept with comfortable beds! The location is fantastic with access to the water and the Aberdeen Resort grounds. We walked to the Aberdeen Lodge – great food and atmosphere. We both really enjoyed the true “Up North” experience of Manitowish Waters (not so touristy), and highly recommend the Cedar Hideaway. Thank you Lorrie and Warren, we look forward to staying again!

Fabulous House

  • 5 of 5

I can not say enough good things about this house and the people we rented from. This house was big enough for my group of 11 and our dog to spread out and enjoy this winter wonderland. The kitchen, bedrooms, and entertaining areas are all big enough and cozy for us to enjoy each other, watch a movie, play a game or just hang out. The owners are accommodating, helpful, and just really nice and easy to deal with. We came up here to snowmobile. The house is right off the trails and easy to get to from Boulder Junction Marine where we rented from. I would highly suggest this property if you are planning a stay in this area.

Family vacation and wedding.

  • 5 of 5

My fiance and I, and 3 of our 4 kids, stayed at the Cedar Hideaway the week of August 13th and had a fabulous time! We had our wedding ceremony right on the property and it turned out beautifully. The house was fully equipped with everything we needed, including all the necessary baking utensils for my daughter to make the three-tiered wedding cake. The house itself was very clean and had all the comforts of home. We rented the lower level as well which provided us with some privacy and the kids with a game room. We saw the albino deer, eagles, black squirrels and many loons. We had our wedding dinner just steps away at the Aberdeen Lodge which was wonderful. I would definitely recommend this property. It is very well kept and just a short distance from the quaint downtown of Manitowish Waters. Also close to Greer's Pier where we rented a pontoon boat. An overall great week that ended much too soon!

great house

  • 4 of 5

House was wonderful! Beautiful and spacious. Our host were very gracious! We were there during the heat wave and even with no air conditioning at night the house and rooms were cool enough to sleep comfortably. We closed up the windows in the bedrooms during the day opened them at night. We put a box fan at the back door and it cooled the whole house. Basement was cool all the time. The only thing we did not like was it was to far from the lake and the mosquitoes carried us away. We had a great time with the family all together.
