Cozy Lake Wawasee retreat! 3-bedroom home located one block from the lake and Oakwood Resort. Accommodates up to 8 guests (max 6 adults) including one queen (upstairs master), one full (upstairs), a twin-over-full bunk (downstairs), & a pull-out couch. Enjoy your morning coffee from the front deck and spend your evenings roasting smores on the fire pit. In between, enjoy all that Lake Wawasee has to offer, including the community swim pier, the beach at Oakwood Resort, and the full playground. This is a cozy older lake cottage full of character. As with many homes near the water, you may occasionally see seasonal bugs despite regular pest service. The upstairs bedrooms have charming sloped ceilings, and the home features an open stairway. Guests should use care on the stairs, and young children or guests with mobility concerns should be supervised. Also, due to the small size we can only accommodate up to 6 adults. Guests can access the entire home. Parking Note: Park in rear of property on S Haug St if available. Additional public parking is available on Line St. on the north side of the subdivision (accessible via Haug St. or Hansing St. Parking on Oakwood Resort property (including right next to playground on E Park St.) is available for $10/day payable at the resort front desk.
