About this property

We fell in love with this location, on a quiet hillside with extensive wooded views and the sea in the distance. Bell Lloc, situated midway between the hamlet of Romanyà and the village of Santa Cristina d'Aro, the proximity to a good choice of restaurants and several 18 hole golf courses, the beach at S'Agaró being only 10 mins away. Girona Airport is 20 mins drive and Barcelona is reached in just over an hour's drive.
We had the house built to our design, with a feeling of light and space exuding from the airy living room and well fitted kitchen at one end, whilst the large windows open onto a wrap around terrace overlooking the large swimming pool and ample garden beyond. The furnishings have been carefully chosen to be comfortable but yet practical for family use, and with 2 bedrooms and a bathroom at each side of the house, sharing families or groups of friends will retain their privacy.

Ideal for summer holiday rental and also for touring Barcelona, Girona and Costa Brava

I would like to thank you for giving me, my family and friends the best holiday. Your villa was fantastic and really made our holiday special. The accommodation was perfect, it was truly a home from home, the furnishings and fittings were first class and there was more than enough crockery for the 8 of us. The pool also was large enough for all of us and our inflatables! Another great asset is that it was perfect for 2 separate families as it gave each of us privacy and space. It was these wee touches that has made you villa different from any other.
I would be interested to know if you have any other villas elsewhere and i will certainly recommend this villa to me friends and work colleagues. I hopefully will also be fortunate enough to visit this one again.

Your villa was a dream, for the 1st time ever we did not want to return home after a holiday, the only downside of our stay was having to close the gate for the gate for the last time.
It is a really homely villa, we felt we could relax and still respect your property without worrying, it was clean, spacious and well fitted - what am I talking about that's nothing like home!!

we did venture to the top of the hill and had tapas in the closer of the 2 restaurants, new waiter and very friendly with an excellent command of English (and about 3 other languages as well- put us to shame).

we went to Barcelona 1 day, parked the car at the station and caught the train in, only about 20 euros each and free parking for the day, and we got off right in the centre of the city- very good as parking was about 15 euros for the day, even if we had a mind to travel the minefield of the roads and find a space, so that was a great tip that you passed on.

Very nice and well maintained place

Large garden with nice pool, also the house itself was big enough for 7 persons. Close to the beaches of Platja d'Aro, S'Agar, Palomas and a great waterparc. Do mind the tigermosquito's. There are loads of them so take precautions.

Top villa

Good location, well-equipped villa, super pool! Owner gives lots of information, good communication. The steep driveway takes some getting used to at first. We had a wonderfull stay!

Great stay

We had a wonderful holiday in this house. Everything was perfectly organised. The house and pool were clean, and cleaning was done again during our stay. We received a generous welcome package of food and drinks. The airconditioning is a welcome addition. We had some trouble with the hot water but this was solved the same day. The owners and the caretaker were very friendly.

A great property. The pool is stunning, and the garden is huge. As other people have mentioned, the photos do not do the property justice. Thank you to the owners for providing a property with many lovely personal touches. A great base for lovely local seaside resorts. We also visited Barcelona twice by train, and the lovely Girona. So much more to see and do, if only we had more time....

Wunderschöner Familienurlaub

Wir haben hier 14 Tage einen wundervollen, unbeschwerten Urlaub zu viert (2 Erw, 2 Kinder) genießen dürfen. Das Haus hat eine tolle Aufteilung. Auch mit mehr als 4 Leuten wäre hier noch Platz genug für jeden. Schöne große Küche mit super Ausstattung. Wir haben nichts vermisst, was wir zum Kochen brauchten. Es gab ein kleines Begrüßungspaket mit Butter, Schinken, Marmelade, Toast, Kaffee, Eis - so dass der erste Einkauf nicht so pressierte. (Vielen Dank :-)) Der Supermarkt Esclat in der Nähe hat auch sonntags auf (!). Der Pool ist ideal - gefliest und sauber. Es gab jede Menge Wasser-Spielzeug (Gummitiere, Ringe, Wasserpistolen) zur Verfügung. Das Bad ist sehr modern, schlicht - schöne große Dusche. Das Haus war bei Ankunft sehr sauber. Waschmaschine und Spülmaschine vorhanden und von uns gut genutzt. Der Grill funktioniert gut. Am besten war die Ruhe und Aussicht ins Grüne. Durch die Lage am Ende der Urbanization fahren sehr selten Autos vorbei. Ein kleines Manko: Es gibt sehr viele Moskitos und Fliegen. Fliegengitter gibt es leider nicht überall - so dass unbedingt Mückenschutzspray eingepackt bzw. vor Ort besorgt werden sollte. Vielen Dank für die schöne Zeit.

Worth the wait!!

Our holiday was postponed twice due to Covid but was well worth the wait. Location is perfect. In a quiet area but within 10 minutes of busier towns and beaches. An easy half hour drive to Tossa de Mar and just over an hour to Barcelona. The villa itself is brilliant. Spacious, comfortable and well equipped. Plenty room for 2 families. With 4 young boys going the pool was obviously a great attraction. As was the size of the back garden. They look great in the photos but are even better than they look. In fact, the pictures of the Villa and pool probably don't do it justice. We, like other reviews, spent more time at the villa than anticipated. The kids were entertained with the pool and space to play in the garden so you don't feel the need to the beach every day. Its just a fantastic place to relax which after the holiday being cancelled twice was just what we needed. With that in mind, dealing with the owners have been simple and straight forward too. They have been helpful and accommodating throughout. Especially as the holiday had to be cancelled twice due to Covid travel restrictions. Well worth the wait and will definitely book again.

Ménage et entretien à revoir !!

Propriétaires très gentils, répondent bien aux messages, mais nous avons été très déçus de la Villa et du couple qui s'occupe la propriété. Nous avons loué 15 jours début juillet, le nettoyage de la terrasse a été fait en mai selon ZAC qui entretient jardin/piscine. Rien a été fait avant notre arrivée, toiles d'araignées sur transat, feuilles mortes, 1 seul parasol (ils ont été les en acheter après), toboggan noires de poussière, EAU DE PISCINE trouble avec le carrelage plein de calcaire. On nous dit que la qualité de l'eau est bonne, que des traitements sont en cours (eau chargée en produit +++). On ne voyait pas les dauphins du fond, ni nos pieds qui glissaient sur des algues, pas de jeux possibles avec les enfant sous l'eau. Le calcaire a servi de pierre ponce pour toute la famille. Dès la 1e journée tout le monde avait les pieds en sang, orteils cloqués/rapés. Notre bébé de 2 ans a porté des pansement sur les pieds toutes les vacances, tout le monde avaient mal aux pieds en marchant dans le sable des plages et en mettant leur chaussures. Zac passe à n'importe quelle heure de la journée et n'important quand dans la semaine, il pourrait passer par l’arrière mais passe par devant. Discrétion? J'ai même reçu un jour un message pour éteindre l'eau qui remplissait la piscine, est ce normal? Le tuyau a traîné 2 jour dans le jardin. Assises des chaises fissurées partout, ne surtout pas s’asseoir sans cousin dessus, sinon vous finissez pincé et vos vêtements abîmés. Devant le barbecue tache de graisse noire, ZAC dit que ce n'est pas nettoyable. Une seule clé pour 8 personnes, nous réclamons une 2e, on nous a dit que c’est cher. On nous propose de la laisser sous une statue (la sécurité?). Au final on nous en a donné une 2e. En dehors de ça le jardin est joli, le coin est calme, et la maison spacieuse. Je précise que le tennis est payant. Pour l’intérieur de la maison, ménage survolé ou pas refait depuis un moment, en arrivant chaussettes noires en quelque minutes, salles de bain sales, joints de douche sales, nous avons refait tout le ménage. Volet d'une chambre qui ne se ferme pas entièrement, ZAC a dit"oui il ne descend pas plus bas" et c'est tout. Aucune réparation, donc réveille au levé du soleil. Chaufferie très bruyante, les chauffages claquent toute les nuits et nous réveille. Un matelas 2 personne est à changer. Les propriétaire nous on bien dédommagé. Encore merci à eux, mais j'aurai préféré ne pas me plaindre et passer un séjour détente

Wonderful holidays

First ,I would like to thank Mr James for giving us the chance to stay in this house even if the booking was made four days before .. We spent an unforgettable holidays in this villa ,the pool was juste perfect for us ..our kids spent a funny time ... The villa was perfectly cleaned and well arranged The kitchen you have all what you need and even in the whole house ... We thank Zack and Ema for their presence for us ..so kind persons We recommand this villa if you want to enjoy the silence ,nature ,pool ...the perfect place to relaxe ... Nous avons passé un super séjour dans cette villa très agréable et très bien équipée. Environnement calme, verdoyant et bien entretenu, grande piscine (12 x 5 > très rare), secteur très adapté pour les fans de running, trail et VTT (le tout accessible à 5 mn de la villa), nombreux restaurants de qualité. Très grande disponibilité du propriétaire (un classeur avec énormément de conseils sorties, restos, etc est disponible dans la villa). Merci James !

5* Villa in a beautiful setting

James and Philippa have a beautiful villa situated in a quiet Spanish area which we enjoyed for 10 nights in August 2019. It is well proportioned and the pool is a great size with the added bonus of a light show at night allowing for night swims. The villa is very well equipped, clean and well maintained. New bathrooms are very modern! We couldn’t have asked for better communications and information from them and Zac and Gemma, maintaining the villa, were very friendly. We would highly recommend this villa, a car is essential and with air conditioning installed the villa would be complete. Thank you James and Philippa

Heerlijk ruim buis met een fantastische ruime tuin met heerlijk extra groot verwarmd privé zwembad!

Heerlijk compleet huis. Wij vonden de bedden persoonlijk een beetje hard. Alles was aanwezig en het was allemaal lekker ruim. De tuin is een oase van rust en ligt privé. Het zwembad is zo groot (13×5m) dat je er echt een baantje kunt trekken in het heerlijke verwarmde water. Afrit nat de garage is erg steil. ..was even wennen.

Fantastic family holiday location!

We had a wonderful stay at the villa. Great facilities and plenty of space for an extended family (6 adults, 3 babies & toddlers) to spread out - both inside and outside. Well worth paying extra to have the pool heated out of season, meant we were able to swim every day. Fantastic location, within 10-15 mins drive of many local beaches and towns, supermarkets and restaurants. James (owner) and Zac (local manager) were responsive, helpful and accommodating.

Excellent, neat tidy, spacious with a great pool

Wonderful large villa with excellent large gardens and a large clean pool. Accomodation was superb, very clean and the service from local rep - Zac was excellent. hte 4 bedrooms were well proportioned and the living / dining area was so big. omnly pronlem was trying to fit the tables together so all 8 of us could eat on the verandah Although inland and a car is required, it is very well situated for so many of the wonderful beaches in the area. Certainly recommend this property and will probably use it again in the future.

Spanish Paradise

The villa exceeded all expectations. It is light, spacious, spotlessly clean and equipped with everything we needed; perfect for a shared family holiday. The pool and garden, in a beautiful setting, were the focus of our activities and with two lively football-mad boys, ticked all the boxes. It was difficult to drag ourselves away but a visit to Barcelona by train from the local station, was one of the many highlights of this wonderful holiday. The local supermarket was clean and well stocked, providing super ingredients for the barbecue. There is a good range of restaurants in S. Cristina and the surrounding area. The nearby beaches are superb. Many thanks to James for all his help in preparing our visit and to Zac for his while we were there.An outstandingly great time was had by all and we, the Jarrett Family, will return.

Ace Villa

Fantastic villa. Pool and garden superb. Area quiet and not overlooked at all. Definitely recommend this villa we were a party of 7 adults and one baby and had plenty of space. Our son made good use of the TV, DVD etc as he burns in the sun which was good and gave options to escape the heat. Plenty to do and see in area and owner always helpful.

Perfect

It was great to come back to this lovely villa after holidaying there, virtually every year when the children were little. The villa is just as perfect as when we first visited. The addition of free wifi was a bonus as was the shelter constructed at the end of the pool. We will be back again. Thank you for sharing your home with us.
