A great place for a couples getaway. The location being on the waterfront and having kayak, fire pit, hammock, picnic table with umbrella, private beach area and tiki torches made one feel like they are stranded on Gillians Island. Insects were not much of an issue especially having stayed there days after the northeaster had blown through. The ground water in the area is high sulfur and smells when using, let the water run for a little bit it is tolerable and was not an issue for us and having plenty of bottled water provided by the host was a major bonus. We would not hesitate to come back. The hosts were very responsive upon having any concerns.
