It was a good base camp for a short two days that we needed a place to stay, The rental suite was cozy and clean with comfortable beds. It lacked a full kitchen but had a mini fridge and coffee maker which was nice and the host let us use his outdoor grill which allowed us to make a meal. Beautiful sunsets from the deck on a nice property were a highlight!

Some VRBOs too posh. Some VRBOs too "meh". Bear's Den was just right! (For us)

Pros: Great price, great views, good water pressure, clean & fairly close to the west Yellowstone entrance. Cons: Hard to get to (one lane pitted dirt road- don’t show up at dark or would be very hard to find), no cups and no water except bathroom sink and shower, bathroom sink was sat very low so as a 6’ tall person it was weird to use.

Everything is perfect including communicating with host!! the room is very cozy and the location is perfect to approach yellow stone national park !!The only thing i want to highlight is the entrance path!!It is trrible for any vistor with compact car or sedan !! thanks God we met the good weather in 3days, If it was in a rainy day, it might not reach the house easily !!!We strongly suggest the host fix the path ASAP!!

It was a very nice clean place, but the road getting up to it was horrible. The number of the on the building was not well marked and the steps going down to the unit were very steep. Not a good unit for the elderly.

Thank you Peyton! You are a terrific host and we are so glad we got to visit with you! The space was perfect for us and well described. This was the perfect location and accommodations for people who are on the go during the day and look forward to wake up to a cup of coffee or an adult beverage at sunset looking at that beautiful view from the balcony! We will see you again!Cheryl and Val

Our plans to tent camp in Yellowstone were in question due to cold and snow. Last minute we found this property and it was great! Beautiful view and exactly what we needed to save the weekend! The owner is so helpful and kind, my daughter and I felt very safe here on our own. Thank you!!!
