About the host
Hosted by Kate
Hi we're Guy and Kate, we live in Ann Arbor Michigan, and this is our second short-term rental house. Our first is a Narrowsburg New York, where Guy spent many years at boy scout camp. Kate grew up in the Dayton area and had not returned since she started college. Visiting her sister and nephews a year ago, she got very nostalgic and homesick and decided to purchase a home near where she grew up to spend more time with family.
Why they chose this property
We love historic homes and knew that we wanted to find something pre-war. Our nephews play hockey on the Miami teams and this house was a great location for us to be close to their practices and games! We fell in love with the entire property along with all the great historic details, the proximity to downtown Middletown the closeness to the outlet shopping, and proximity to family in Dayton and Cincinnati.
What makes this property unique
We love that this home maintained many of the historic details and charm, but yet was fully modernized.
