Summary:

Feel the atmosphere of historic Krakow by staying in an apartment in a monumental building. This spacious 100-square-meter interior, where history meets comfort, is ideal for a stay with family or friends.

The location on Zyblikiewicza Street puts the Main Square within walking distance. You can reach the Wawel Royal Castle in about 15 minutes, and the main train station is just 900 meters away.

In the apartment you will find a fully equipped kitchen, air conditioning in one of the bedrooms and a comfortable place to work.

The Space:

The 100 m² apartment is designed for 4 people. You will find a spacious living room, two separate bedrooms, a separate kitchen with access to a balcony and a bathroom with a bathtub. Decorated in vintage style, with wooden parquet floors and a piano in the living room, it is located on the 2nd floor of a historic building.



The Neighborhood:

The apartment is located in the heart of Krakow, in a historic building. Just a few minutes' walk away from the Main Square, Cloth Hall and St. Mary's Basilica. If you're looking for a moment's respite, the Planty Park stretches nearby, just 220 meters from the building. The Wawel Royal Castle is 1.4 km away. You will also find numerous service and dining outlets in the area.

Perfect for our stay

We really enjoyed our stay. The AC was so nice to have. It was quiet and comfortable. Really conveniently located. Host was very responsive. :)

Our stay was unfortunately disappointing due to poor communication and several missing amenities.The biggest issue was the host's lack of communication. We never received the check-in email with instructions, so upon arrival we had to make an international phone call at our own expense just to gain access to the property. Even then, the directions were unclear, and we had to search through a large multi-building complex to find the correct unit.The listing advertised air conditioning, which was technically true, but one of the bedrooms had no A/C and not even an oscillating fan. On warm days, that bedroom became very uncomfortable and made it difficult to sleep.The unit was also inadequately stocked for four adults staying eight days. We were provided only four bath towels and one hand towel for the entire stay. While there was a washing machine, each load took about an hour, and because towels had to be hung to dry, they often weren't ready when needed. At one point, we had to use kitchen paper towels because there were no dry hand towels available.The apartment itself was adequate, but the lack of communication, misleading expectations regarding the air conditioning, and insufficient linens made this a frustrating experience. I would not stay here again or recommend this property.

Krakow Visit

The flat was very comfortable and very clean. Close to the old town and grocery stores. Very friendly neighborhood. Would use this flat again when in Krakow.

The building architecture was beautiful. We found it without much trouble. We did have an issue with the codes getting through the gate and the entrance, however once we got in we were able to use the keys without issue. The lockbox worked wellLocation was great! Not far from Old Town as well as near tour pick-ups and trolley lines. A small grocery store was right around the corner too. The place was clean and huge! 2 big bedrooms, living room, huge witches with all amenities, dining area, nice bathroom, entry hall and even a balcony to enjoy some morning coffee on! The owner’s were responsive and made our stay very enjoyable. Krakow itself was wonderful too!

Perfect stay in Krakow

My wife and had traveled to Krakow this past November and stayed at the hotel Saski. We had such a wonderful time I wanted to return and bring my cousin and adult son to experience Krakow. The hotel for 2 weeks and our group wasn't a good solution so gladly I found this apartment. It is a larger apartment, great location and amenities for whatever you choose. Somewhat unusual for Europe it has A/C not that we needed it. Very usual for Europe it is on the (US) third floor so if you had lots of luggage as we did or limited mobility be aware. I think you'll find similar situations in most Krakow apartments though. A work out but certainly a small price to pay for such a perfect stay. One small advice only 1 set of door keys but my clever son said just put them in the lockbox and everyone has the combination! Brilliant I knew I had taken him along for a reason, that and to carry the luggage!

Our experience with this property was disappointing, primarily due to the lack of communication from the host.For nearly a month before our trip, I attempted to contact the host several times with no response. We wanted to extend our stay by two additional nights in hopes of receiving a better weekly rate, but instead we were required to book the extra nights separately.On the day of check-in, we did not receive access instructions in advance, and the directions for locating the unit within the multi-building complex were unclear. As visitors unfamiliar with this style of apartment complex, finding the unit was unnecessarily frustrating.The unit itself was spacious, and both the bedrooms and the living/kitchen areas were a nice size. However, there were several issues with the amenities. We had four adults staying for eight days, yet only 2½ rolls of toilet paper were provided. There were only four bath towels and one hand towel for the entire stay, with no replacements or extras available, making things quite inconvenient by the end of the week.The listing also advertises air conditioning, but one of the bedrooms has neither an A/C unit nor even a fan. The adults staying in that room were very uncomfortablebecause it remained hot throughout our stay. The only A/C unit was located in the kitchen area, and it did not adequately cool the bedroom unless the bedroom door was left open. A disappointing stay. I would not stay here again.
