The 3 room apartment 60 m2 is just new renovated and part of a 5 apartment house. The flat is made to use for couples or small family with max. 2 kids. We offer one room with a queen size bed and a room divided to a wooden sliding door with a bed sofa for one adult ore two kids. The house is placed in Grindelwald on the sunny hillside and offers a perfect panorama view. Next to the Eiger North face and to the Wetterhorn. Vis-Ơ-vis the MƤnlichen and the Kleine Scheidegg. There is a bus station direct in front of the house.
The construction is made in high standard and encloses massif parquet, decorative wooden and stone structural elements. There is a sleeping room with queen size bed 160cm and an additional davenport in the second room which can be separated with sliding doors. Bathroom with bath tube/shower wash. With beautiful terrace 14 m2, laundry on the ground floor and garage for one car in house.
This apartment with natural materials gives a comfortable and cozy ambience and convenient for two persons.

This excellent apartment overlooks the Eiger and the valley. Wake up to cow bells from the pastures below. The location is convenience with a bus stop just a few minutes awayā€”close enough to Grindelwald, but far enough for some peace and quiet. (The buses start early, but also ends early.) The kitchen had everything we needed to cook nice meals after a busy day. The place was perfect for two of us. Note: stairs to top floor. Laundry available on bottom floor with 1/2 franc coins.

Overall impression is fantastic. The balcony view was amazing, the kitchen supplies were way beyond expected and we really appreciated the extra spices, oils and all the kitchen pots and pans. The extra added surprises like orange juice and cookies were greatly appreciated. Local bus transportation was very close, convenient and always on time. Very nice to have use of Netflix was an added bonus. I would recommend this place 100% to future renters. A big thank you to our hosts.

Lovely apartment with well equipped kitchen and fantastic views. I would have preferred a bigger bedroom, which felt cramped. The lounge area can be divided to provide an extra bedroom, but I think the property would benefit by making it fully two bedrooms (my opinion) and others may differ. But being elderly a more comfortable master bedroom would have suited us.

This is a well appointed property with excellent facilities and views. The location is convenient for all local amenities and is located in a very quiet area of the town. This home is spectacular!! It's close enough to walk into the busier Grindelwald area but far enough away so that you can enjoy peace and tranquility. I loved staying here. It was so perfect in every way.

Un sƩjour plus que parfait Ơ Grindelwald

La propriĆ©tĆ© est telle que reprĆ©sentĆ©e dans les photos. Tout est impeccable de propretĆ©, trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ© et les hĆ“tes Ć©taient trĆØs faciles Ć  joindre et avaient donnĆ© beaucoup dā€™information. Les voisins trĆØs gentils et nous ont mĆŖme aidĆ© avec la machine Ć  laver situĆ© dans un endroit commun au rez de chaussĆ©. La cuisine est trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ©e mais apportez des allumettes si vous ĆŖtes non fumeur pour utiliser lā€™ensemble Ć  fondue. Lā€™endroit est un peu passĆ© le village alors trĆØs tranquille avec une vue paradisiaque. Je vous le conseille fortement. Merci aux hĆ“tes.

A lovely property with everything you need. The living space is large, and the outside deck has a spectacular view. The kitchen is well equipped with items available to prepare any type of meal. We found the apartment very clean and far enough from the hustle and bustle of downtown to enjoy a quiet afternoon after a busy day.

Amazing stay in Grindelwald

We enjoyed a wonderful week stay at an amazing chalet apartment with spectacular views of Eiger and Grindelwald area. It was very comfortable and clean with modern appliances and decor. We loved the location on the bus route, being a bit removed from the crowds of Grindelwald center. We would definitely love to stay here in the future.

Great location!

No complaints about the apartment! Very clean and great location. We struggled with the stove and oven as we are from the USA, but with a few YouTube videos we figured it out! We would definitely stay here again!

Swiss vacation

Excellent apartment location away from the crowds. Fully furnished with beautiful balcony view of Eiger. Absolutely stunning views of mountains. The hosts provide great amenities with fresh fruits on arrival. All kitchen items exceeded expectations. We are so grateful for enjoying a month at this lovely apartment. Ce logement est vraiment de qualitĆ© supĆ©rieure, tout est trĆØs propre et trĆØs bien Ć©quipĆ©. Nous y avons sĆ©journĆ© 10 jours pour faire de la randonnĆ©e et cā€™Ć©tait parfait. Nous avons pu garer notre voiture dans le garage. Lā€™arrĆŖt dā€™autobus pour descendre Ć  Grindewald est gratuite et lā€™arrĆŖt est Ć  5 minutes Ć  pied. Wow what a view

Lovely clean well equipped flat. Views to die for. Wait 10 minutes and itā€™s all change. Had trouble opening the door to get in - only to realise we were using the wrong key. Put that down to a senior moment. I suppose the way to judge a property is ā€œwould you come here againā€ Without a doubt thatā€™s a big Yes. Many thanks for letting us rent you lovely flat

Amazing space, stunning views

We stayed at Frankā€™s apartment for a week in late April and early May. It is just like the photos and the proximity to the Eiger, Monch, Wetterhorn, and Jungfrau is amazing. The views are spectacular. Just a short drive or 5 minute bus ride up the hill from Grindelwald. Beautiful space with everything you need including a full kitchen and spices. Very comfortable bed. We hope to be back, especially in sunnier/warmer weather!

Perfect in every way!

The location of this Vrbo is enough to want to stay there. My wife and I loved our day excursions to the whole region but this cute apt was just a fun to come back to each evening. The unit is very updated and has a perfect view of the mountains and of all of Grindelwald. You will not be disappointed at all!

Amazing Views

The property has wonderful amenities and a spectacular view. Every day we opened all the windows and door to enjoy the view from every angle of the living room, dining room and kitchen. We sat on the balcony and watched sunsets and stars. The bus stop is located just 4 minutes from the property. The one thing to mention is the apartment is on the third floor and you must go up stairs. Great location away from the busy downtown area, yet still very close, just a 10 minute bus ride. Quiet and peaceful location. Franz and Diane provided excellent check in and check out instructions with additional local resources. We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed every minute of this location.

Great Stay in a cozy mountain retreat, with an amazing view

Enjoyed a very nice, clean apartment, with a wonderfully stocked small kitchen - perfect for making meals - breakfast and dinner and enjoying them on the balcony with the serene views of the Eiger:) Nice choices of herbs as well as dishes and pans to be able to use the kitchen and enjoy. The owners were very detailed with information and responsive to our questions and needs. The local bus passes were a nice extra as well. Appreciated very much, and enjoyed the area very much.
