Beautiful rural horse ranch, nestled in the Cuchara valley. Peaceful retreat with a zen-like atmosphere, ideal for artists or just to decompress & enjoy the beauty of the Spanish Peaks/Sangre de Cristo mountain ranges. Abundant wildlife & hiking trails & views of the famous dike walls unique to this area. Nearby the quaint town of La Veta, with art galleries, shops, restaurants, market, library & golf course. 20min. to Cuchara Mtn. Park or Lathrop State Park w/numerous trails & other amenities.

The space
Guest area is a 3 story octagonal silo next to the owner-occupied main residence. There is a full bath & closet on the ground level, bedroom with queen bed on the 2nd level, & living room/balcony with wide-open mountain views on the 3rd level. STAIRS ONLY, no elevator.

Guest access
Guests have full private access to the 3-story silo, access to the outside garden area around the silo, & the ranch acreage, including the shared parking area.

Coffee/tea station provided in silo. No facilities for cooking. There is a market with prepared foods, a bakery, & several restaurants in town. Plus numerous other options in the surrounding area.
