The Südwesthörn North Sea swimming area is only about 3 kilometres away. From the town centre, you have numerous options for day trips. The town of Niebüll is approximately 12 kilometres away, and the nearest train station, Klanxbüll, is 6 kilometres away. From there, you can reach the North Sea island of Sylt by train in about 20 minutes via the Hindenburgdamm. The Danish border is a 20-minute drive away.
