Esta relajante experiencia de vacaciones casa está a sólo 10 minutos a pie de Cabos céntrico comedor, puerto deportivo, y la famosa vida nocturna de Cabos. El Pedregal es el principal destino de Cabo con calles empedradas, villas de un millón de dólares y entradas cerradas con personal las 24 horas. Ah, ¿mencionamos las vistas .....

Nombrado después de las esculturas caprichosas Gecko que adornan las paredes exteriores de los hogares, la villa privada ofrece calidad y estilo intemporal con hermosas luces de océano, ciudad y vistas a la montaña.

Magníficamente ajardinado, esta casa cuenta con 2200 pies cuadrados de terrazas tropicales con rocas naturales y jardines con flores. Disfrute del sol, sombra tropical o la refrescante piscina privada en uno de estos hogares muchas terrazas de ladera. La piscina se encuentra en la terraza más alta con impresionantes vistas a kilómetros. También puede disfrutar de las casas privadas desierto arroyo zona con una sombra gigante 'palapa', arena y un montón de espacio para tomar el sol.

La casa cuenta con una planta principal multi nivel abierto con sala de estar, cocina y comedor que fluyen juntos en un balcón con todas las vistas. this property was absolutely beautiful and everything we needed was right there! there is a beautiful view of the ocean. only complaint is trying to figure out ubers and taxis.. the security makes it a little difficult and there was construction going on in the roads so we had to walk to the gate to get to the ubers. it is cobblestone road and has steep hills.

The villa is absolutely stunning—truly one of those places that makes you pause and take it all in. Everywhere you look is beautiful, and there are so many thoughtfully designed spots to relax, unwind, and just enjoy the surroundings.It does sit on a bit of a hillside, so everything is a bit of a hike—something to keep in mind—but it also adds to the privacy and the incredible views.Most importantly, we felt completely safe the entire time, which made it easy to fully settle in and enjoy the experience.Overall, such a special place. We’d absolutely return.

Wonderful House

We were two families of 4 with teens staying at Villa losGeckos. The layout was perfect for our group and everyone had enough space to either relax on their own or gather together as a larger group. The house is well maintained and has beautiful views of the marina and downtown Cabo. Easy walk to downtown but far enough away to feel peaceful. Would stay again.

The house was perfect for...

The house was perfect for our adult group of 8! The bathrooms were gorgeous, the bedrooms were roomy, and the terraces were private. We would walk to town for dinner and shopping, but would often take a cab home, (which was not too expensive)We had no complaints!!!! We would stay again!

Great Stay at the Villa

The owner, Joel, is terrific! He was always available by phone at the last minute (I missplaced the entry code). The Villa is amazing and you need to set up a dinner with Reynaldo, the chef with Chef Services as part of the stay. Don't pass on this place if it is available to book!

Close to everything!

Great spot! 30 minute walk to all the fun stuff. Had a bachelor party and comfortably fit 9 of us. The villa was centrally located and close to everything. Oh, and what a view! Thanks Joel!

Thank Max for the review. You are correct about the villa's close proximity to all of Cabo. I often recommend that guests walk to the marina and from there, you can take a water taxi to Medano beach or to the arches, etc.. Cabo is all about the fun an d good times on the water. Would book again

The property is exactly as listed. We had 3 couples and had plenty of room. Walking to town down a hill is fine but we took a taxi back up to get home. The owner was very quick to fix issues. We never got the satellite to work but that was not a big deal. We felt safe during our stay.

Stairs!!

Great Villa..lots of room!! The villa was clean and everything worked as it should. It was an easy walk into town. My only caution is to anyone that has a physical handicap...this villa is on a hillside and you must walk up/down stairs to every room (four steps from kitchen to living room - those are the easy ones). The view from the pool is spectacular!

Beautiful Oasis

My friends and I went for a bachelor party and stayed at the Waldorf next door then jumped over here for the remainder of the trip. The owner was very responsive to my abundance of questions. He also had great suggestions for airport shuttle, at-home chef, and other miscellaneous activities. The house is supplied with everything you need and is located in a very nice gated community overlooking downtown Cabo. Not one bad complaint!

So fun!

The property was exactly like described and my friends and I had an amazing time. We went for my bachelorette and all felt safe the entire time. The neighborhood is gorgeous and the bathrooms were insane! We did have a bit of trouble with the phones and calling taxis so we had to walk down to order them, however that was the only issue we ran into. The chef was an amazing touch and we’re so glad we took advantage of that opportunity! Definitely worth checking this place out when you go to Cabo!

Hello & thanks for the great and honest review. The community has 24 hour gated and manned security. So when calling for a cab, you must call the security office and they order the cab. I can understand it is some extra steps and they get busy. I am also glad that you used our referral for chef Lupita, she is amazing, She is culinary trained at the best chef school in Mexico, located in Pachuca, Hidalgo.

Wonderful Host

Had some issues outside of host control like a water heater that decided to stop working on day 1 or an internet router that reached end of life. The host was incredibly communicative and responsive. Had a new water heater within a couple hours of discovering the issue. Did not have the same timeframe for router. House served purposes well.

Great Stay At Villa Gecko!

Absolutely wonderful home that served us so well. We (7 of us) enjoyed staying there. The location is perfect and completely walkable into downtown. (The walk back is uphill but if you are in average shape it’s no problem!). We also had a chef cook in the house a few nights and that worked out perfectly too. The only thing that was a bit disappointing is that the pool was in the shade and (at least in January) the water was too cold to go in. The pool/chaise area is very separate from the house (but the views are killer!) so we really did not get to use that area. There is a nice little balcony area off the dining area that was great for hanging out. We ventured to the private Pedregal beach (a long walk but a beautiful one) and it was spectacular. Joel was responsive with our questions and answered promptly. Everything in the house was as it was presented.

Great, Convenient Location

My wife and I stayed at Los Geckos for nine nights. Although we rented a car, the location is within easy walking distance to the marina, shops and restaurants. The house is big, clean, comfortable and has Wifi - a huge plus since we wanted to stay in touch with family. Joel was easy to work with and gave us pointers and tips on several items. There are two separate sun decks and a separate pool deck. Plus, there are several other outdoor areas for all to enjoy. From a privacy standpoint, we'd rate Los Geckos an 8 out of 10. For Pedregal, that's a great number since many homes are right next to each other. From a sun factor, we'd rate the location a 7 out of 10. The sun hit the deck by 8:30 in the morning but was behind the house and hill located behind the house by 2:00. We figured the summer months would get more direct sunlight and this would probably bump the rating up to a 9 or 10. If you are looking for a great rental in popular Cabo San Lucas, this is a very strong contender. We would definitely rent this villa again.

New Years Stay 2023

We recently stayed at Villa Los Geckos. The property was as advertised and we did the chef service for breakfast and dinner which was great and I would highly recommend. However, on our second to last night staying in the Villa someone broke into the house and stole all of the cash we had as well as 5 pair of AirPods and a nice jacket. When we noticed the next morning we immediately contacted Joel who said he contacted security and the police. We waited for the police/property manger to arrive, but after 2 hours we no longer felt safe and decided to leave the property and go to a hotel for the remainder of our time in Cabo. In doing so, we did not file a police report which is needed to recoup any lost items. Pedegral is a gated community and security claimed there were no abnormalities other than the cabs we ourselves had called and that nothing unusual happened on the hourly security checks, but we cannot deny the fact that all of the cash was gone and every persons AirPods were tracked miles away to a part of Cabo we had never been. They are suppose to check peoples IDs when going in and out of Pedegral, however the only time we saw this being done was on the last cab we took out. We did ask for a refund on the night we did not stay there. Joel agreed to work with us to get Vrbo to pay for the hotel night, but not the night on the actual property. If staying here, I would recommend to not call cabs directly to the house.

We are glad you enjoyed the recommended chef service. As far as the experience you describe, we are truly concerned and express our support. Our property manager did visit the villa to talk with your group, but nobody was home. After a lengthy review and investigation by the private communities' manned security team, they report no break ins to any houses in the community and no evidence of any abnormalities occurred. Their logbook of the hourly drive through also shows no abnormalities or logging of any persons walking around. Unfortunately, nobody in your group mentioned or reported anything to the police or our security team despite talking with security 4 different times that morning to order your taxi's and check out at the manned entrance. Therefore, I cannot make any further comments on what you say you experienced. I do know the half of your group departed to the airport because they were scheduled to depart that day. Taxis must be ordered through the security and are logged and yes the drivers ID are checked upon stopping for entry. Owners and owners guests do not need to provide ID's, however upon guest arrival and departure, it is logged in. I will close by saying having owned this property located in the very private gated community of the Pedregal, I have witnessed and experienced a secure community with a top notch 24/7 security team. Also having hosted thousands of guests, and receiving 450 + 5 Star ratings, I can assure a great secure and positive experience to any future guests.
