Modern vacation home with garden

Located in a quiet area of Oberstreu. There is a bakery in town. Additional shopping options, such as supermarkets, a pharmacy, restaurants, and other bakeries, can be found in the nearby town of Mellrichstadt (about 3 km away) or Bad Neustadt a. d. Saale (12 km away). Within a radius of 15 to 30 km, there are numerous recreational opportunities and hiking trails. These include Lake Frickenhäuser, the Lichtenburg Ruins, the Schwarze Moor, the Fladungen Open-Air Museum, the observation tower on the Rother Kuppe, Kreuzberg Monastery, the Wasserkuppe, and the Rhön Green Belt. The Streuglück holiday home offers space for up to 5 people in its 110 m². On the ground floor of this historic half-timbered house, you’ll find a fully equipped kitchen, a dining room with a view of the garden, a cosy living room with a wood-burning stove, and a bathroom (shower, toilet, hair dryer). A washing machine is also available. On the ground floor, there is a spacious bedroom (box-spring bed 180x200) with a sitting area, a spacious bathroom (walk-in shower, toilet, hair dryer), and a reading room that invites you to relax. The attic features two additional bedrooms (double bed 180x200 / single bed 90x200), which offer a special atmosphere thanks to the original exposed beams. The outdoor area of the holiday home features a cosy terrace with a dining table, ideal for enjoying meals together outdoors. A barbecue area in the garden is also available for cosy evenings grilling. Please note that pets are unfortunately not allowed in our holiday home. However, free Wi-Fi and a parking space right next to the house are available. Please be aware that there are two steep staircases in the holiday home. Payment is due on-site in cash. Check-in is available from 2:00 PM to 7:00 PM. Check-out is between 8:00 AM and 11:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to make arrangements, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on site or via a key box. You will receive the code for the key box well in advance of your arrival. An additional person—that is, a sixth person—can sleep on a pull-out armchair for an extra charge of 10.00 EUR per night. Pets are not allowed.
