For generations, we have been running our family-owned guesthouse with heart and passion in the picturesque Franconian Lake District—idyllically situated on the quiet outskirts of Hohenweiler, just one kilometer from Lake Großer Brombach. Our lovingly renovated rooms and apartments are allergy-friendly, comfortably furnished, and offer relaxation for the whole family. While the little ones let off steam on the playground, the grown-ups can relax and enjoy nature. Cyclists are just as welcome here: a lockable bike garage with an e-bike charging station, tools, and a compressor is available. Sustainability is important to us—with our wood-chip heating system and on-site solar panel array, we’re doing our part to protect the environment. Personalized service, tailored excursion recommendations, and genuine hospitality ensure that you’ll feel right at home from the very first moment. In our farm store, you’ll find high-quality products made on-site as well as from regional partners—fresh, authentic, and selected with care. Guests staying in our apartments or vacation rentals can enjoy our extensive breakfast buffet for an additional fee of 12.50 euros per person per day (children 8.00 euros). Our spacious "Zur Eiche" vacation rental offers 85 m² of living space, providing ample room for up to six people. It features two comfortable double bedrooms and a cozy twin bedroom—ideal for families or small groups. The fully equipped kitchen-living area has everything you could need: an oven, coffee maker, electric kettle, microwave, toaster, and a large refrigerator/freezer are all at your disposal. A safe ensures your security, while satellite TV and free Wi-Fi throughout the apartment provide entertainment. The modern, private bathroom is equipped with a shower, toilet, hair dryer, and washing machine—towels and linens are, of course, included. The covered rooftop terrace with a view of the greenery is particularly inviting—here you can relax and wind down at the end of the day. The apartment is non-smoking. A 50% prepayment may be charged after booking. The remaining balance is due on-site in cash or by card. Check-in is available from 1:00 PM to 8:00 PM. Check-out is by 10:00 AM. Other check-in and check-out times are possible upon request. Please contact us in a timely manner to arrange this, if necessary. Keys will be handed over in person on-site or via a key safe. You will receive the code for the key safe well in advance of your arrival. A crib can be provided upon request for a fee of 6.00 euros per night. Pets are not allowed. The tourist tax of 1.50 EUR per adult per night will be charged separately on-site. Breakfast is available for an additional fee (per day): 12.50 EUR per person; children under 6 years old are free; children ages 6–12 pay 8.00 EUR.
