The apartment is beautiful, filled with natural light shining on natural materials. It is well-designed and well-equipped, with modern appliances, a spacious and comfortable main room, open-plan kitchen, master bedroom with ample closet space, and an office that can serve as a second bedroom. The deck, with outdoor seating, grill and sunshade, is an extra treat in an urban setting.The location just on the edge of the pedestrian zone was perfect for my purpose, which was to attend the Bayreuth Baroque Opera Festival. Each of the venues was only a short walk away, as were many of the other interesting places to visit in town. I particularly enjoyed the calm, shady Hofgarten. I saw many performances at the Margravial Opera House; even if you don’t go to a performance, I recommend visiting the Museum, to have a look at the beautiful interior and to learn about its history and construction.Mr. Werner and his son met me upon arrival to give me the key and explain the aparment (in both German and English). They also provide a great deal of helpful information about sightseeing, shopping and restaurants in the apartment. Throughout the process, Mr. Werner was very responsive to my inquiries and always pleasant and helpful.I have stayed in many VRBO rental properties over the years; this is among the best I have had the pleasure to visit.
