Very nice 18th century family house with swimming pool and modern comfort. It is located in the village of Chateauroux-les-Alpes in the Embrunais valley, between Gap and Briançon, and in the heart of the Écrins park.
While being in the heart of the village and close to its shops, it has a 3 hectare park.

It includes 16 beds and 1 baby bed:
- 5 bedrooms with double bed
- 3 bedrooms with 2 single beds
- 4 bathrooms

Upon arrival, sheets are provided, as well as bath towels (but no pool towel)

Equipment: internet, TV, DVD player and video library, gas barbecue

The activities are numerous:

Hiking: walking is like second nature for Hauts-alpins and it is one of those simple pleasures offered by the Ecrins park and its surroundings, whatever the level.

More generally, all mountain sports are practicable: climbing, white water sports, canyoning, etc. A guide office is installed below the house, on the banks of the Durance.

Mountain biking: the area is full of routes for mountain bikers from the village itself. Around 30 circuits are accessible, including two legendary descents: Vars-Embrun and Orres-Embrun.

Fishing: fishing is an important activity in the region. In the bailiwick there is an aquaculture farm a few meters from the house for trout fishing with children. For amateurs, it is possible to fish in the Rabiou, the Durance, the Couleau, the lake of Serre-Ponçon.

Culture: in addition to the authentic village of Châteauroux, the town of sea spray (8km) has a beautiful architectural heritage, in particular the 12th century Notre-Dame du Réal cathedral. The market is also superb. Briançon shelters the fort of Mont-Dauphin.

grande maison très bien placée au dessus d'Embrun et au calme

grande maison ancienne (plutôt pour 14 que pour 16) avec une cuisine bien équipée, ainsi que la vaisselle Le côté vieillot a son charme mais aussi les inconvénients, comme l'isolation phonique, le manque d'éclairage. La literie est correcte, la salle télé est sympa La piscine est grande mais n'était pas en état pour notre semaine, et cela manque de transat, dommage car cela fait partie du prix.

Une superbe maison, pleine d’histoire et très bien située

Nous remercions l’hôte pour son accueil et ses explications, claires. Nous avons été accueillis au cœur des montagnes, à quelques kilomètres du lac, dans cette jolie maison, qui était bien dimensionnée pour un groupe de 15. Amoureux de l’histoire, cette maison est faite pour vous, pleine d’anecdotes et d’objets interessants. La piscine était un plus. Attention si vous avez un chien, le terrain n’est pas complètement clos ce qui n’est pas précisé sur l’annonce. Nous avons passé de très belles vacances.

Excellent séjour dans un batisse qui a bien besoin d'un serieux rafraîchissement. Superbe region avec plein d activités . Les points négatifs: la proximite de la N94, responsable de nuisances sonores et literie mediocre. Numéro de la gestionnaire qui nous avait été communiqué etait erroné.

Superbe vue sur les montagnes

Grande propriété, jardin et piscine super mais la maison aurait besoin d un rafraîchissement, de l air conditionné et d une salle bain supplémentaire sinon convient très bien pour une famille nombreuse avec enfants et le cadre est superbe.

Maison familiale au top

Nous avons passé un super séjour entre amis dans cette belle demeure. La maison est spacieuse, grande cuisine, grande table, super jardin et magnifique piscine sans vis à vis. Tout est fait pour se sentir bien à 10 personnes au moins. Cuisine bien équipée en grands plats en quantité Joli jardin bien entretenu. La communication avec les hôtes a été très agréable. Emplacement très bien pour nos activités : kitesurf à 18min, sorties en vtt, vélo de route, randonnées...tout le monde a trouvé son compte

Idéale pour grande famille !

Très belle demeure dont il faut prendre soin. Idéale pour grande famille tant dedans que dehors. Bel espace avec un accueil fort sympathique et discret. Les commerçants sont également chaleureux avec pizzas et pain succulents. Allez y car très bien située et faite pour les amoureux de vieille demeure 😊 tous trouveront leur place de 2 à 82 ans

une vrai maison de vacances

point de luxe dans cette maison, mais de grands espaces de vie dans lesquels on peut à vivre 16 sans se gêner....une très belle piscine dans un grand terrain qui préserve notre intimité...une immense salle de détente aux multiples possibilités, dont un piano accordé qui transmet l'âme de cette maison. Nous reviendrons.

Grande demeure vintage idéale pour les vacances des grandes familles ou avec de nombreux amis, et où chacun y trouve son espace. Belles terrasses pour les dîners. Super piscine . Le tout dans un décor de montagne magnifique et une météo estivale des plus agréables. 15 jours de vacances que nous n'oublierons pas !

superbe maison de charme où l'on se sent tout de suite bien. Nous avons passé un trés agreable sejour en famille. Toutes les conditions sont reunies pour des vacances reussies pour petits et grands: grande piscine, maison et chambres spacieuses. Les personnes qui vous accueillent sont d'une extreme gentillesse. En cas de probleme, vous pouvez sans soucis compter sur eux. C'est un lieu que je recommende vivement.

Nous avons passé une semaine formidable l'été dernier aux Garçins. Nous étions 5 couples avec de nombreux petits enfants et l'endroit s'est révélé idéal : maison spacieuse avec beaucoup de charme à l'ancienne, grand jardin très bien entretenu, possibilité de manger très nombreux dehors et dedans, grande piscine sécurisée, à 5 minutes en voiture du lac, et possibilités de promenades dans les environs...
