Holiday 2025

The check in was great. We had a wonderful holiday at the house, beautifully appointed, it was clean and perfect sleeping arrangements for all 10 of us.it had everything you needed in the kitchens (2) for cooking, plenty of plates, utensils, pots ,dishes etc. two dishwashers (one a bit temperamental). The pool area was perfect, plenty of room to eat and cook outside, loads of games, books , dvd”s, garden toys and table tennis for children and adults. The location was excellent 7km for the nearest town. All in all a perfect place to chill relax and have a great holiday. Thank you .

Excellent séjour

Nous n'avons pas eu de chances avec le temps (beaucoup de pluie) mais nous avons pu compenser grâce à une très belle maison, très spacieuse, très bien aménagée pour les grandes familles. Nous avons beaucoup aimé la région. Nous avons eu de très bons contacts avec la propriétaire. Nous y reviendrons sans hésiter si nous revenons dans la région !

Helaas hebben we door het slechte weer geen gebruik kunnen maken van alle faciliteiten buiten en het zwembad kon door de kou niet verwarmd worden. Het was een prima huis, schoon en goed verzorgd.

Well equipped for large groups

Very nice property, well equipped inside and out for large groups. We had 3 families with kids ages 4-13 and it catered to everyone. The outside kitchen area is particularly lovely even if it rains. Shame the pool wasn’t heated until we asked for it but Helene was super responsive and we really enjoyed our stay.

Fantastisch

Het is een heerlijk huis met een fantastisch buitenverblijf en mooi wijds uitzicht. De buitenkeuken was top en het zwembad zeer aangenaam met het warme weer. Alles was ingesteld op veel gasten. Met een woord: top!

Magnifique propriété

Superbe séjour dans une magnifique propriété avec beaucoup de charme, très propre et beaucoup d'équipements à disposition. Beaucoup de chose à visiter même si pour cela un peu de route est à prévoir. La propriétaire est au top, agréable disponible et à l'écoute. La seule petite chose que nous avons à redire pour notre séjour est le chauffage de la piscine (à 25°C), car manque chance nous n'avons pas eu une belle météo pendant notre séjour et nous avons difficilement profités de celle-ci. ( Nous aurions volontiers payé un supplément pour avoir une eau plus chauffée ! ) Je recommande très vivement cet endroit que ce soit en famille ou avec des amis !

Magnifique

Très belle propriété au calme. Tout est là pour passer un excellent séjour. L’interieur est joliment décoré. Le + : la cuisine extérieure toute équipée avec terrasse couverte qui permet vraiment de profiter de l’exterieur. Nous avons passé de très bonnes vacances entre amis et les enfants se sont bien amusés.

A wonderful week in this quiet, comfortable well equipped gite with a private pool and lovely views

In August 2018, our family of seven adults and five children (aged 8-13) had a wonderful week in this quiet, well equipped gite with lovely views over the surrounding Dordogne countryside. There is little traffic on nearby roads, and the shops are 10-15 mins away. We lived outside by the pool and surrounding decking, and enjoying the comfort and convenience of the self contained kitchen, dining and living space, including shower and toilet. We had a disabled guest visit the outside area in a wheel chair with no difficulty, but didn’t need to go inside the house. The adults and children enjoyed table tennis, and various indoor games and the excellent, large TV entertained the children. The wifi/internet worked well and there was mobile phone cover too. The weather was excellent, becoming unseasonably hot towards the end of our stay. Some table fans would have been welcome, especially in the upstairs bedrooms. We will have fond memories of this holiday for a long time to come. If you’re looking for a private and secluded gite, away from it all, with your own pool, you have found the right place.

Lovely holiday!

We had a lovely time at the house during the first two weeks of July 2018. Besides its charm and beauty, it was also extremely clean, fully-equipped with supplies and very nicely renovated. Despite the heat outside, the stone walls kept the indoor temperatures nice and cool. Our favorite part was the outdoor area. Next to the pool, we had a kitchen and bathroom at our disposal, so it was possible to just stay outside all day if we desired. There was also plenty of pool furniture and a small lounge area to simply relax and tune out. The view of the lush green countryside was absolutely breathtaking. Helene and her family were very sweet and helpful to assist us with anything we needed. If we felt like taking a break from our lazy days at the house, there were plenty of pretty and interesting towns to visit nearby, where the food and wine was absolutely delicious. In conclusion, we really enjoyed our stay and had a wonderful holiday. Highly recommended!

Belle maison, belle région, belles vacances....

Nous venons de passer deux semaines très réussies dans une magnifique maison pleine de charme. Elle est au calme face à un paysage bucolique. Elle est bien agencée et chacun peut s'isoler pour se reposer s'il le souhaite. La terrasse, la piscine toute refaite, le pool house spacieux et très bien équipé et les grandes pièces à vivre dans la maison permettent de bons moments conviviaux. La piscine est superbe chauffée et d'une très belle couleur (gris). Les couchages sont confortables et les sanitaires agréables. Maison très propre. La propriétaire, Hélène, est très sympathique, très serviable et nous a donnés beaucoup de conseils et adresses suivant ce que nous souhaitions voir et manger. La situation géographique est idéale pour visiter le Périgord vert, nombreuses activités variées autour. Idéal également pour la gastronomie avec des produits des producteurs locaux et de bonnes adresses.... Nous étions huit adultes et cinq jeunes enfants. Nous garderons longtemps un merveilleux souvenir de ces vacances dans cette belle maison de famille.

magnifique

Nous avons effectué une nouvelle fois un petit séjour dans cette jolie maison. La piscine a été entièrement refaite avec un nouveau revêtement gris qui donne une eau magnifique. C'est vraiment un petit paradis où chaque année Mme Tilhos apporte quelques nouveautés et pour nous un pur plaisir. Je recommande vivement cet endroit.

Séjour trop court dans cette belle région ! Accueil très chaleureux, de bons conseils de la part de la propriétaire et une maison parfaite pour 14 personnes. Séjour trop court dans cette belle région ! Accueil très chaleureux, de bons conseils de la part de la propriétaire et une maison parfaite pour 14 personnes. Notre séjour n'aurait pu mieux se dérouler: la maison est encore plus belle que sur les photos, son emplacement est parfait en étant proche 4 km aussi bien des commerces que de nombreuses activités campagne et plein air, et notre hôte Hélène a été exceptionnelle dans sa disponibilité et ses conseils. La campagne est belle et si reposante... Lieu magique, exposition magique, extérieur magique .... De ma jeune fille de 2 ans, en passant par mes autres enfants plus âgés et jusqu'à ma belle mère, tout le monde a été ravi !!

Vacances formidables !

Un coin merveilleux où nous avons passé de très agréables vacances en famille. La maison est conforme à la description, tout était très propre et en ordre, elle est très bien équipée. Nous avons avantageusement profité du pool house très bien équipé (cuisine intégrale avec couvert, LV, micro ondes etc..., salle de douche avec wc, super) et de la piscine où se sont déroulées les jeux et les dérives paresseuses. La piscine est juste à côté du lieu de vie et de repas extérieur donc super pour la surveillance des enfants. Le jardin très fleuri et odorant a beaucoup de charme, la vue est superbe ! bref un endroit à recommander très vivement aux grandes familles ou groupe d'amis. Merci à Hélène pour son accueil et son dévouement et ... ses petits conseils....culinaires !!
