Wonderful
We were 15 persons, three generations from 2 to 58 years old and we all had a fantastic two weeks in Argeliers and the Oasis villa. There were things for everyone. Of course, the pool was the center piece during the days, when we didn't do sightseeing all over Aude. For the youngest kids, the play area was super, located in a shadey area where the older could play petanque while watching the children. For breakfast and wonderful long barbeques, the outdoor kitchen and sitting area was perfect. Argeliers itself had a great bakery and winerie's that supported our basic needs, and for food shopping there is a small store in the village and supermarkets conveniently close by car. The bedrooms are spacious, with great beds and with bathroom/shower facilities enough for everybody. I warmly recomend spending a vacation here. Mr. Marand is very helpful and supportive and for sure we will do this a

Belle et grande maison, très agréable à vivre.
Spacieuse maison bien agençée, avec de grandes chambres, et de grandes pièces à vivre, elle est très agréable pour un groupe avec enfants (on y trouve sur place lits de bébé, chaises hautes, tout ce qu'il faut). La piscine est belle (mais froide !) et très bien sécurisée, on n'a pas eu peur pour nos enfants en bas âge. L'accès contrôlé par des portes à verrou ne remplace pas la vigilance, mais facilite grandement le contrôle et les aller-retours. Un grand jardin où ils peuvent courir, ping pong, billard, pétanque, et tennis à deux pas, tout le monde peut trouver une occupation. (Et sinon, le hamac vous tend les bras) Le propriétaire est très agréable et réactif aux demandes qu'on lui fait. Commodités tout près, la voiture est quand même utile, aussi pour aller se promener au alentours. Point incontournable : la cuisine d'été, où faire barbecues en tout genre, et manger sur de grandes tables en terrasse. Seul bémol ressenti par tous : la température de la piscine, on aurait aimé pouvoir y rester plus longtemps, et que nos enfants n'aient pas froid si rapidement. Chauffée, elle aurait été parfaite.

7 adultes, 7 enfants, 4 jours très sympas
Cette maison est très agréable, à l'image de son propriétaire. Avec ses sept chambres et de grande pièces de vie, elle autorise aussi bien les moments de convivialités autour d'une table que les moments d'isolement nécessaires au bon déroulement d'un séjour en groupe. L'extérieur est particulièrement agréable avec cuisine d'été + jardin paysagé autour de la piscine (à moins que ce ne soit le contraire), le tout étant clos (appréciable si présence de jeunes enfants). le coin "enfant" avec balançoire + toboggan ne manque également pas d'intérêt (je n'ai presque pas vu mes enfants du w.e.). La page web du propriétaire donne un apperçu très fidèle qui limite le risque de mauvaise surprise. Les environs ont l'air assez sympa, même s'il faut l'avouer, nous avons préféré profiter des agréments que propose la maison.

La villa est très agréable, bien équipée et surtout très spacieuse ... ce qui très appréciable si on considère le nombre de personnes que peut accueillir la maison. Les chambres sont grandes, disposent de suffisamment rangements et sont plutôt bien insonorisées. Le jardin est très beau, vaste et clos il permet de laisser jouer les enfants en toute sécurité. L'espace piscine est très convivial et aménagé avec goût.

2 semaines agréables en grande famille avec bébés.
Pièces aux vastes proportions. Bonne séparation entre les pièces à vivre et les chambres. Un mobilier ne craignant pas les assauts des 10 enfants présents. Cuisine trés bien équipée. Une vie extérieure possible sous grosse chaleur. Magnifique piscine arborée. Certains sanitaires vieillissants doivent être refaits. Réponses immédiates du Propriétaire à chacune de nos demandes. Région trés riche en sites remarquables, plages un peu lointaines.... Nous avons passé un excellent séjour.

Superbe vacances
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances. La villa est idéalement située (à 5 10 min à pied d'une boulangerie, petite épicerie, à 15min en voiture d'un super marché). Superbe cadre, le jardin est très bien entretenu. La maison très bien décorée et très spacieuse. Nous étions 13 et n'avons vraiment pas manqué de place. Il y a tout ce qu'il faut sur place pour s'occuper aussi bien par mauvais temps que par grand soleil. La piscine est très bien entretenue. Le propriétaire est très disponible et discret. Bref une villa que je recommande vivement pour de jeunes adultes (ou autres)!

A découvrir absolument!
Villa très spacieuse et confortable où il fait bon vivre (nous étions 3 couples, 4 enfants et un bébé): les chambres sont spacieuses et agréablement décorées, la cuisine extérieure est un bonheur, tout comme la salle de jeux. Il y a tout pour passer un agréable séjour en famille, entre amis: piscine, boulodrome, table de tennis de table, billard, baby,.... Rien ne manque, même pour les bébés. Merci au propriétaire, pour son accueil, sa simplicité, et cette belle demeure. Adresse à conserver et à transmettre à ses proches.

A louer sans hésiter
Maison spacieuse très agréable, très fonctionnelle et très bien équipée. (véritable Oasis) Loueur sympathique et disponible. A louer les yeux fermés surtout si vous êtes nombreux. Dommage on n'a pas pu profiter de l'extérieur car location en hiver, ça donne envie de revenir pendant l'été.

très bonne location
Très bonne location que je recommande vivement. Nous avons passé un WE entre amis très agréable. Cette maison est très équipée. On y trouve tout ce dont on peut avoir besoin. La décoration est très sympathique. Le jardin est superbe. Difficile de trouver des points a améliorer: l'insonorisation peut-être....ou encore la TV..... mais c'est vraiment pour etre "tatillon" !!! En conclusion: un 17 sur 20.

Brilliant family gathering
16 of us (10 adults and 6 children aged 2 to 6) stayed at L'Oasis for 13 days in July/August. We had a wonderful time all together celebrating my husbands 70th birthday. The villa was perfect with lots of room for everyone both inside and out. It was very clean and well organised with everything we needed, even down to a potty! The crowning glory was the pool, it was beautiful and was well looked after, always clean. The children also had a play area as well as games in the garage. We visited the fruit farm and nearby villages for rock pooling and splashing in the rivers as well as Carcassone and Beziers. There is a Supermarket just nearby but not much in the village. The house is a little dated but that adds to the charm and makes you feel relaxed and at peace, you are not on edge , particularly with little ones, however it functions beautifully and is well thought out. Simon the host and his mother were extremely kind, approachable and helpful. Simon organised a caterer and cake for my husband's birthday party. (Marcelle at the nearby restaurant, excellent). He also provided fans immediatly when we requested more. If you are looking for peace and relaxation without fuss and rules this is the place to be. It was excellent and a very happy holiday was had by all.

An idyllic stay
A wonderful place,great garden, pool and plenty of room for family and friends. Simon was outstanding in every way. We spent two months in Argeliers and enjoyed every day,with memorable trips to Carcassonne, Beziers, Narbonne, Perpignan,Montpellier inter alia. I would recommend the villa without reservation.

I’Oasis
Gite l’Oasis in Argeliers was a lovely spacious property. Easily able to accommodate 16 people. The outside space was fantastic with plenty of seating and an excellent bbq area. The pool was lovely with plenty of sun loungers. Would definitely recommend.

Amazing family holiday
We had a lovely holiday in Argeliers last week. We visited the villa as a large family (8 adults and 6 children under 10) and it was a great place to stay. The garden and swimming pool are a real asset, with lots of outdoor dining space surrounding the (gated!) pool and what our children referred to as their own private playground! The villa needs a little TLC inside but this didn’t really bother us spending so much time outside. The kitchen, lounge etc had everything you could need. Simon was an amazing host, helping with organising, he even picked us up from the airport due to issues with taxis in the area, you can’t really ask for more! I would recommend hiring a car or a bike as things to do in the town are quite limited so you would get the most from your time if you visited some of the wineries and villages around you, unless you are planning on spending all your time by the pool! Wonderful holiday
Firstly, Simon, the host, was outstanding and couldn’t have done any more to help us. His communication was first class. The property is big: very big! It had enough rooms for 16 of us and plenty of space around the pool and in the garden. The outdoor bbq area with seating for 16 was used on a daily basis and provided a lovely area for us all to gather each evening or at lunch. Argeliers as a small town has very little to do. However, there is a supermarket within 5 minutes and plenty of places to visit if you have a car. For instance, within a five minute drive, you can find wine tasting and some truly great restaurants. A bit further afield is Narbonne and Carcasonne. Both very much worth a visit. The price of the property does reflect its condition. It’s all perfectly clean and everything is in working order. However, it could do with more bathrooms, the pool needs a bit of work and so does the patio area and gardens. However, if you spent the money to do this, the price would double! Ultimately, we were very happy and the only reason it wasn’t 5 stars was because of the lack of bathrooms.

Good value for money - very good for Families
We had a great and relaxing stay with 4 families in the house. (8 adults with 8 children between 6 and 11 years). There was enough space for everyone to sleep as well as sit inside and outside. The new owner took care of any problems immediately and was very friendly and accommodating. The outdoor kitchen was very practical. The children enjoyed using the table football and pool table in the garage, which gave them an additional play area in the garage. The property was large enough and nicely planted and fenced. There are great places to visit nearby such as Minerve and Narbonne and you could walk to the village of Argeliers and along the canal.

Très jolie maison au calme
Une maison très bien pensée pour les voyageurs en famille comme nous ! La piscine est superbe et la cuisine extérieur très pratique pour profiter un maximum des belles journées minervoise . La maison est très bien située, au calme, avec énormément de chose à visiter aux alentours. Nous reviendrons très certainement ! Encore merci pour ce beau séjour !

Rundum gelungener Urlaub
Seit mehreren Jahren machen wir einen gemeinsamen Urlaub mit vielen Freunden ( diesmal 11 Personen). Wichtig ist uns ein gut ausgestattetes Haus. Die Räumlichkeiten sind großzügig, viel Platz für alles. Ob Boule, Billard, Spielplatz, parken für Alle, Waschmaschine, an alles ist gedacht. Da wir gerne kochen, ist die Küche sehr wichtig. Hier fehlte es an nichts. Als die Kaffeemaschine kaputt ging, hatte unser Vermieter Claude sogar eine in Reserve. Geschirr und Küchengeräte, alles ist da. Im Pool kann man prima Schwimmen und er wird täglich gereinigt. In nächster Nähe (fusslöufig) ist ein intermarché, im Dorf Bäcker und Metzger und nicht weit weg 2 sehr gute Lokale. Wir hatten Fahrräder dabei, Ausflüge am canal de midi, nach Minerve, ans Meer oder in ein Weingut, alles ist möglich. Ausgerechnet am Tag unserer Abreise hatten wir einen platten Reifen am Auto. Unser Vermieter Claude bot uns sofort seine Hilfe an, und wechselte uns fachmännisch den Reifen. Herzlichen Dank ihm!!! Trotz Panne ein rundum gelungener Urlaub!

J''ai particulièrement apprécié les terrasses,barbecue,cuisine extérieure,jardins, la piscine, la salle à manger et sa décoration exotique, le stationnement facile de 5 voitures, le garage pour nos 6 vtt, la situation géographique.Une véritable "OASIS" où il fait bon se détendre entre amis, dans un environnement délicieux, sans contraintes.Le propriétaire est très sympathique et très serviable.Une location exceptionnelle qui a contribuée au succès de notre séjour, et à recommander à ses amis sans hésitations !"
