Papa’s Rest – Village of Hemingway
Beautifully appointed home on Kenya Golf Course with great VIEWS to the southwest down the fairway.
This DESIGNER 2BR/2BA HOME sits above the 2nd tee of Kenya Golf Course, looking down the fairway. Chapman Loop is a quiet neighborhood offering peaceful walks, friendly neighbors, and easy access to walk, bike, or take the golf cart to Havana Country Club’s highly-rated Cuban cuisine restaurant. We looked long and hard to find the combination of house and location we wanted and look forward to sharing it with you.
Biking, walking, swimming, and golf, are the activities we knew we would be interested in, and you can immerse yourselves in those, or any of the numerous other activities such as water volleyball, pickle ball, bocce, polo, softball, or join one of the activities such as dancing, weaving, art, or music while staying in The Villages. If you want to sample an active life style in a community designed to make that possible, then The Villages is one place you should try.
We came to The Villages without a lot of optimism that we would be comfortable in Florida, but found that not to be the case at all! The architectural layout of The Villages includes buried power, natural gas and cable lines, wide boulevards with large areas of flowering plants which, combined with 11 championship golf courses, 32 executive golf courses and expanses of prairie ground favored by wading birds, make for a wonderful pastoral landscape. We can’t wait to spend the majority of each year fully immersed in the numerous activities and hobbies available in The Villages, which advertises itself as “America’s Friendliest Home Town” and more than lives up to the assertion.
