Placed between the sea and the countryside, in “Val das Hortas”, this 1 hectare property was redesigned for tourism in 1995 and restored in 2008 adding a new swimming-pool. Nowadays, it offers you comfort (satellite TV, Internet WiFi, air conditioning, swimming-pool), privacy (fencing and all type of vegetation), and tradition (chicken coop where you can collect fresh eggs everyday and recycle organic rests). Among the orange trees, the villa holds a 2000 square meter garden with lawns, rock garden, palm trees, bougainvilleas, pine trees and cedar, the ideal place to relax. You can also use one of the bicycles for sightseeing or light shopping.
The Monchique Thermal complex and SPA, 20 Km towards north, allows you to profit from massage and a lot more (http://www.monchiquetermas.com/hotel-overview.html).
It is worth a visit to home local restaurants (and picturesque taverns) to enjoy the pleasures of the algarvian cuisine.
