Terrific view. Wonderful deck with extremely comfortable lounge chairs. Relaxing to sit on the deck, nice breeze and great meals outside. Beautiful cabin with all amenities. Internet was very fast, surprising in the middle of nowhere.

The perfect escape!

  • 5 of 5

Great location, lovely cabin (just as the photos revealed and description indicated), and the best vacation my family could have hoped for. Nate, Andrea, and family were very accommodating and we truly appreciated the opportunity they provided. Highly recommended!

Peaceful seclusion

  • 3 of 5

We would rank it 3.5 stars if it was an option. Fantastic views. Comfortable log cottage. Charming interior woodwork. Fully-stocked kitchen and modern bathrooms. Appreciated modern amenities such as rainfall shower head in bathroom and free wifi. Bedrooms need drawers/shelves. Wild blueberries on property a nice treat, however, the outside property was not as nice nor as comfortable as it could be. Overgrown vegetation around deck staircase made it awkward to carry items up and down and overgrown vegetation all over property made for awkward access to the water. A designated fire pit would be nice. Junky exterior not appealing I.e. Leftover containers, broken planters, Coke cooler acted as pool of water for mosquitoes. Nice for couples but not recommended for small children or people with mobility issues.

Fantastic Cabin/Cottage

  • 5 of 5

This was the perfect get away, the setting is incredibly beautiful and the cabin is well laid out and lived up to all our expectations. If you are looking for a wonderful out of the way spot for a vacation this is it. Nathan and his family took great care of us, we could not get over what a special place this it. It's a bit of a hike from Toronto, but completely worth it. I have literally only good things to say about this place and desperately hope to get back there one day.

At the end of the week we stayed there we wished we had another week to go. Just an awesome spot.

Wonder view right on the water. Amazing

  • 4 of 5

This cabin is great. A ways off the bitten path. But being right on the water was amazing. Take care though the mosquito's are abundant. Remember your bug spray. The cabin is spacious and comfortable, but it is not air conditioned. In combination with the mosquitos the nights were less than ideal. The running water in the cabin is not potable. But is fine for bathing and washing up in the kitchen. Drinking and cooking water was provided so no big deal. The owner is very attentive if anything is needed and we were made to feel welcome and right at home. But the view is absolutely stunning. I don't know if you could find a vetter one. My family had a great time and would recommend anyone to give it a try.

Owner's Response: Thanks for staying with us! We have had unusually hot weather here in the north and surprisingly until this year we have not needed any air conditioning. We have decided to add window A/C units to make for a more comfortable sleep and I regret that we did not have them for your stay. Thanks for your review, Nathan
