We loved it. Tiny house equipped with all you need. Quiet huge garden with no noise whatsoever. The perfect place to rest and forget daily business a little while.
We enjoyed the stay in this nice cosy cottage with a beautiful garden with the smell of fig trees.
Fabienne was a great host and invited us to try his homemade grape juice. Thank you
The gite was very clean and comfortable, and everything was provided that we needed. The owner, Fabien, was very helpful, before and during the holiday, offering suggestions of places to visit and telling us about the history of the region.Great hospitality was shown to us. We appreciated our visits to both local and regional venues such as Nimes,Uzes, and the Cevennes National Park, and the pool was a great asset to us on very hot afternoons. Overall we had a wonderful stay. Merci Fabien.
This quaint cottage located in a private village has everything you need to enjoy your escape from the grind of city life, including a cosy fireplace with fresh cut wood, comfortable beds and blankets, hot running water, a full kitchen, a washing machine, and a spacious yard with a trampoline (there is also a pool for the summer time). The property maintains other cottages far enough away to ensure quiet intimacy. A short trail takes you down to a tree fort beside a small creek. The host, Fabian, is affable and welcoming. If he sees you while he’s working on his property, he’ll stop to chat you up. He also takes great pride in sharing his home-grown wine, grappa, and other spirits together with some local cheeses. Perfect for families, couples, and small groups looking to enjoy their down time. I couldn’t recommend this place highly enough. My family is already planning a return this summer.

Nature at its best
We chose this property as it gave us access to both the Cevennes and to the Camargue. The peace and quiet of the property itself was outstanding. The owner Fabien was very friendly and had good knowledge of the area, sending us to a couple of places that we might not have looked at otherwise. The garden of the property was lovely, with butterflies and birds galore. There was both Black Redstart and Redstart nesting in the garden and we had the pleasure of a Lesser Spotted Woodpecker in the tree next to the cottage. The cottage is warm and cosy. We saw 24 different species of bird in or over the garden. The Cevennes National Park is a short drive and well worth the two weeks that we spent exploring the area. We had 116 bird species, 39 butterfly species and some very interesting insects and other animals in the area. The property is near to the Vulture Viewing centre. There are a huge number of very well signposted walks in and around the area, some of which start from the village. The buildings and surrounding countryside are exquisite. The Camargue was about a 2 hour drive, but an easy drive there and back. There is an excellent bakers in the village. with some very nice pastries. To summarise it is an excellent area to stay in, if you have an interest in birds or nature in general. Highly recommended to anyone with a love of nature and the need to get away from it all.
