Lovely village house with a view of lake and mountain VAUJANY on the other side Alpe d'Huez

Charming fully restored, bright, 19th century village house, designed with taste (everything new) and ideally situated with an unobstructed view of the surrounding mountains and of the lake of the Eau d'Olle. A large picture window leading to a 25m² terrace (very pleasant for the outdoors meals) gives light to the 45m2 living space. Vaujany ski resort is 3 km away.
Direct free access by shuttles (to go and come back) every day.
Possibility to have some bred and the newspaper delivered each morning as well as varied staple products.
You will find nature and tranquillity during your stay. The village of Verney has a children's playground and a field of Pétanque perfect to chill out with your family. Nature lovers can fish too. Large variety of sports activities in the surrounding cities: mountain biking, pedalo, kayaking, windsurfing, rock climbing, outdoors and indoors swimming pools.

Short stay in great property

Plenty of room for a large group and parking for cars. Bus stop right outside gives easy access to Vaujany town. Owner communicates readily and available for any questions. We had a great time!

Cycling getaway

Group of 12 on a cycling vacay from 🇨🇦 (last of 3 stops in France). Home was well appointed with a great common dining area and kitchen that you walk into from the main entry. And a large deck that overlooks the little town and lake (dammed). Bedrooms situated on the two floors above the main so make sure you have your climbing legs activated. We also had access to two sheds ghe easily enabled us to keep our bikes and bike bags stored. Marianne (owner) lives next door and was readily available and responsive to any of our needs. Communication initially was a challenge as some emails got lost including our need for towels and M’s need for a € damage deposit. But all cleared up shortly after as Marianne scrambled but successfully found enough clean towels from her personal collection for our use. And the deposit, though slight inconvenience was returned prior to our departure. The house allows for easy access to some great cycling (croix de Fer; alp d’Huez; etc). And is a short distance away to groceries, patisserie, restaurants. That said we enjoyed post ride relaxation on the deck while enjoying beers and wine with our charcuteries boards and then taking advantage of a well appointed kitchen for main meals. A great home with great hosts. Look forward to our return!

Le chalet est confortable dans sa globalité : cuisine bien complète, bonne literie, coin salon un peu petit pour une grande famille . La navette est très proche du chalet . Nous avons passé un excellent week end entre amis à Vaujany : cadre magnifique, maison spacieuse et confortable aussi bien pour les adultes que pour les enfants, accueil chaleureux. Une navette gratuite nous a conduit jusqu'aux pistes, le village est aussi très sympa (beaucoup d'activités sont possibles à proximité). Nous recommandons!

Super séjour passé chez Mme Michel. Un grand chalet, fonctionnel, très propre et avec tout le nécessaire pour passer un super week-end à la montagne en famille ou entre amis. Très bonne communication avec Mme Michel, de nombreuses places pour se garer juste à côté du chalet et même un petit local pour mettre les skis ou les vélos en été ! Un grand merci !

Grande maison pratique au calme navette au bout de la rue (10 mètres) bref le calme vue sublime sur le lac et les montagnes. Hôtes attentionnés et à l’écoute des besoins si nécessaire Le pain frais et viennoiseries livrées sur commande et de très bonne qualité…

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour à plusieurs familles. Les propriétaires habitent juste à côté de la location, ils sont très accueillants et disponibles ce qui peut être très pratique en cas de problème.

Louée pour un week-end entre amis. Maison très grande, super vue sur le lac et les montagnes. Les propriétaires sont très sympathiques et arrangeants. Et on a en plus la possibilité de se faire livrer du pain et des viennoiseries le matin ! Au top !
