Nice place, kind people speaking ONLY italian
We stayed at Molina's appartment for 10 days in 7 people. The accommodation was nice, quite big, clean ... incl. 3 terasses and garden if needed. Enough place I would say. The house is typical Sardinian which contains also almost new kitchen with everything you need. Every room had own air condition (even consumption is paid extra). The only negative was that close to us were goats with rings which woke us every morning. The owners speaks only italian, so the communication was difficult on both sides, but in the end everything was perfect. We recommend!
This was our second time staying at Milva’s and we loved it this time round as well! We had three spacious bedrooms (with two bathrooms) and a separate kitchenette/living room area. Everything was clean and tidy on arrival, Milva and her husband greeted us themselves. The house has a terrace with a spectacular view and the garden is truly beautiful.
Porto Pino beach is about 10 minutes away by car. You can walk, but I wouldn’t recommend it in the heat.
The only drawback is that the wifi connection is very weak and you have to get the password from the town. But it’s the same everywhere that we have stayed in the area. Also, not a lot people speak English, only Italian. So that’s something to have in mind. But other than that, S’ant Anna Arresi and Porto Pino are heaven on earth. We will definitely come back.
Besser geht es kaum
Geräumige Wohnung mit 2 grossen Veranden.Alle erdenklichen Küchengeräte und beste Ausstattung. 180 Grad Rundumblick auf Ort, Berge und Meer. Ortsnähe, aber schwierig zu finden. Nette Gastgeber. Negativ: Aussengelände nicht beleuchtet.
Abbiamo condiviso la casa in 2 famiglie. 4 adulti e 4 ragazzi.
If arriving at Cagliari airport you can choose between several itineraries:
Taking the SS 130 towards Iglesias, leaving at Siliqua on the SS 293 towards Giba and then the SS 195 for Sant’Anna Arresi. We are at the end of the village (see map linked under "owner site")
Alternatively, an appointment can be arranged at the last crossroad towards Porto Pino, before the end of the village.
Two longer alternative routes, can be taken
- with less curves, going towards Iglesias and get on the SP 126 passing by Carbonia
- via the stunning coast road taking the SS 195 through Pula, then the SP 71 passing by Chia and back on the SS 195 towards the left, Sant’Anna Arresi (and founding us at the very entrance of the village on your right)
In any case, we highly advise to invest in a good road map before coming in Sardinia…
For close reach, a look to the Googlemap linked under "owner site" can help (we are under the blue mark)
Village and surroundings:
Sant’Anna Arresi is surrounded by contrasting landscapes and environments. From animated Porto Pino to picturesque islands like Sant’Antioco and San Pietro. Then there are the unspoiled beaches and sand dunes of S’Arenas biancas & the rocky coast and the divers paradise in Costa del Sud. Or perhaps the hills, forests and amazing caves of the Sulcis are more to your taste. With all that in mind the whole area has a deep rooted history, with archaeological remains of all the cultures which reached or spread in Sardinia, the cross roads of ancient Mediterranean civilisations.
