Próximo de várias praias maravilhosas e inserida num Parque Reserva Natural e apenas a 30 minutos de Lisboa, esta casa é ideal para uma família. Aqui poderá usufruir das praias, dos passeios na serra e ao mesmo tempo da capital, visitando os pontos culturais e históricos mais emblemáticos. Existem 2 cidades (setúbal e Sesimbra), situadas á beira mar e que distam a 10 minutos de carro, onde poderão saborear a nossa gastronomia, visitar o melhor mercado de Portugal, bem como, outos pontos culturais de interesse. Localizada numa linda e acolhedora vila, onde a viticultura e a produção de vinho é muito importante, a visita ás 2 empresas produtoras de vinhos reconhecidos internacionalmente aqui sediadas é obrigatória. Possibilidade de alugar barco de recreio com skipper durante a estadia,(privado).

Nice house with good pool

Location is good, walking distance to the shops/village. House was also like expected and garden/pool absolutely perfect.

Was a great spot for us as we explored the area. Pool was clean and apartment was great. Hosts were very welcoming and answered all our questions and shared ideas with us.

Relaxing 12-day stay

We were warmly welcomed by the owners' daughter. Our hosts had prepared a 3-course meal for us, which was very tasty. Despite our late arrival, everything went smoothly. The house is lovingly furnished, we especially liked the living room. We can recommend the house to couples or families with small children, due to the open-plan bedrooms (there are no doors and the bedroom for the children has a low ceiling height).The house is fully air-conditioned. The kitchen equipment is ok.The bathroom was large and clean.The large pool in the garden is beautiful and it's a great place to relax. In Azeitão itself there are a few restaurants and the supermarket can be reached by car in 5 minutes. It takes at least 45 minutes by car to get to Lisbon, or much longer depending on the time of day. But public transport as well as Uber is very reliable and cheap.

Lovely spacious property with large pool and gardens

A super family size open plan property on multiple levels. Swimming pool is fantastic and large. Owners leave you alone and guve youlots of privacy abnd space but are there as needed. One hour 20mins to Lisbon oldtown.

Fabulous Villa

We had an amazing stay in this villa, it was better than the photos. Beautiful gardens and pool with lovely chairs and seating area. Close to supermarkets, it took us 20 Minutes to get to the local beach and an hour to get back to Lisbon airport. The hosts who live on site were available when you needed them but other than that we did not see them, so it felt very private. We would certainly go back.

A Paradise in Azeitão

The place is fantastic, the swimming pool amazing, spectacular gardens. The neighborhood is really calm and close to village center and the beaches. The owners have been very kind. Maybe the furniture was a little old specially the beds but nothing worthy. Overall Oustanding !!!

Enjoyed our stay very much

We had a great time in Azeitao. We enjoyed the lovely villa and the garden a lot. Perfect for our dog, too. The area offers a lot of options for great excursions. Lisbon is close and the beaches nearby are stunning. The host couple live in the main house in the same property, but fully respected our privacy. We love to spend a part of the winter in Portugal and will do so again, for sure. All in all - we felt at ease and comfortable. Thanks for everything.

Lovely spot! Wouldn't hesitate to go back

Candida and family were so welcoming and made us feel right at home. Spacious and clean, with lovely outdoor space and gorgeous pool. They gave terrific recommendations for beaches, things to see and do in the area, and regional specialties to try at restaurants. Walking distance to a grocery store. The bedrooms are open-concept, but with privacy screens. This was fine for our family, but may not suit other groups.

Beautiful pool and gardens

Lovely villa, the owners were away when we arrived (they let us know their daughter would be there to let us in and show us around before we arrived) everything went perfectly. The Villa was clean, tidy and homely. All the amenities were provided within the Villa and the owners even asked if we want some salad out of their garden! (How nice 😃) The pingpong and fusball were brilliant for the kids, as was the huge garden. Our holiday was amazing, would come back again! Thanks so much!!! 😁

Paradise! Just lovely

Our week was just lovely! The pool was just FABULOUS! Its salty water not chlorodi which is nice! The house was even better then the pictures show. Especially the kitchen en seating area is far better then the pics. And fully stocked, maybe a but of a mishmash but that means there is enough for Everyone.Perfect for a family! The second bedroom is a bit low so excellent for kids. The owners are close by but we have maybe seen them twice. So a lot of privacy. Tabletennis was also a nice touch. Thank you Luis and Candida (and Pipoca ;))

Wow! What an amazing holiday home!

This holiday home is one to book! The home is amazing and the pool is great for families. Candida and Luis are lovely hosts, they spoilt us on arrival with gifts of food and drink which were a lovely added bonus. We are a family of 4 with two kids aged 8 and 12, it was lovely that we could all enjoy the house and the gardens not feeling overlooked and always feeling welcomed. We rented their private boat for a day trip which is one trip we would recommend doing, we spent the day visiting beaches soaking in the surroundings and eating delicious food provided by the host. It felt home from home. There are lots of places to visit in the surrounding areas, places to eat and shop are in abundance and you can walk to the nearest supermarket if you don’t want to eat out every night. Thank you to Candida, Luis and their adorable dog Pipoca for helping us make wonderful memories xx

This house is an absolute gem. First off, the garden and pool area is stunning. Plenty of space to lounge by the pool and for eating. The pool are absolutely gorgoeus and perfect for families. The shallow area was perfect for our 6 and 8 year old to play confidently. The diving board was also a winner! The owner's dog was a welcome visitor and so friendly! On to the house. The photos do not so this place justice. The master bedroom is like something out of a 5 star resort. The twin bedroom was in a little nook off the stairs and open to the master bedroom. The lounge and dining areas are also well equipped. The kitchen has everything you need and opens out on to the outside dining area. The owner is wonderfully friendly and on call for recommendations and help. Their house backs on to the garden but they dont use it when they have guests and we felt like we had the prviacy we wanted. The area is very residential and a car is needed. There is a supermarket and bakery within walking distance. We drove to Sesimbra, about 25 minute drive which was a lovely beach resort and perfect for delicious dinners. There are many other beaches about 20 minutes drive away. We also got the train in to Lisbon, and Candida (owner) was on hand to tell us exactly how to get there and the best places to go. It took about 15 minutes to drive to the station, then 30 minutes on the mainline train. This place is an absol winner for families who want a quieter break, away from the main tourist hubs.

Excellent stay

First of all, I would like to underline the immense proactiveness, cooperation and kindness of the owners of the property, Candida & Luis: due to Covid restrictions, we had a 2 year delay between our original date of arrival booking and our actual arrival this past August. During the 2 year gap period, the communication was always fluid, solid and Candida made sure our original booking would stay valid without any prejudice for us. The House: in our opinion, the photos do not do enough justice to the loveliness of the property - the house is full of light, extremely well equipped, has air conditioning , is confortable, well decorated and spotless - the amazing & huge swimming pool was pristine clean and our twins had the most wonderful time playing in it in the shallow kiddy-area of the pool. The adult area is 2,5m deep and huge, just wonderful - the garden surrounding is well manicured with beautiful plants and flowers - yes, the house is very close to the owners' house but Discretion was the main word and there was no disturbance at all, we felt isolated and alone - Candida welcomed us in person and had delicious local pastries and sweet wine to offer us - Luis gave us most excellent tips on where to wine and dine in the area - Luis also kindly offered us some fresh & delicious tomatoes from his vegetable garden - there is a most lovely dog called Pipoca, which was the highlight for my twins who played with Pipoca all the time The house is located 5mn walk for the centre of Azeitao; excellent restaurants and supermarkets are close by, wine and cheese tasting are nearby and so is a paddel court. Also, a very nice Spa center is just around the corner. The world renowned gorgeous beaches are a 15mn drive and there are plenty to choose from. We had a relaxed, wonderful holiday and will for sure be planning on coming back. We highly recommend it! Gisela & Sergio

Opinião da minha estadia com a minha família.

Gostei da piscina ( sempre limpa), a casa tinha boas condições, tirando o fato de não ter uma casa de banho na parte de cima (quartos) que nós obrigada a ter de descer as escadas acordando as minhas filhas e vice verça. As formigas na cozinha era um transtorno em todos os aspetos. Por fim e não menos importante foi-me informado na ÚLTIMA noite por volta das 21.00H que se não quisesse fazer a limpeza da casa, teria que pagar 50€ para o fazerem. Fiquei muito aborrecida pois costumo deixar, como foi o caso a cada arrumada mas essa informação deveria estar na plataforma como está em muitos ou então dizerem à chegada ou durante a estadia e não às 21.00h como foi o caso. O proprietário tem várias informações para o cliente e porque não tem esta? A esposa do proprietário não conseguiu dar uma justificação aceitável, sendo bastante desagradável e não me deixando quase falar. Vim bastante perturbada com a atitude da Sra. pois fui para descansar e não para ter aborrecimentos. A minha sugestão é que devem colocar esse tipo de informações no início das férias e não no último dia. Gostei da estadia mas não como fomos tratados no último dia e as formigas sempre presentes. Cumprimentos Teresa Morgado P.S - No segundo ou terceiro dia parti uma das prateleiras do frigorífico e fui logo informar a Sra. como me competia e paguei-a como era minha obrigação, tenho deveres assim como direitos o que não foi o caso.

Great house and amazing swimming pool! Nice hosts!

We had a great week at the house of Candida and Albert. They live on the same premise but you have complete privacy. Always available for help when you call them. A pleasant house with a very nice and big swimming pool. We had a fantastic boat trip with Candida and Albert which they offer to their guests. Only remark: the place it better for two adults and Candida and Albert may consider to place a bigger bed for the two adults (the bed is fine but small). The beds for our kids (10 and 12) were more suitable for younger kids and the bedroom is quite warm with a low ceiling. A Wonderfull vacation in a great house with superkind hosts Candida and Albert. Magnifiques vacances sous le soleil d'Azeitao

Nous avons avons passé un superbe séjour dans cette magnifique villa : confort, calme et tranquillité étaient au rendez-vous. La piscine somptueuse à fait le bonheur des enfants (et des parents). Merci encore aux charmants propriétaires qui ont rendu ce séjour encore plus agréable grâce à leurs gentilles attentions et leurs conseils, tout au long de la semaine. Nous recommandons cette location pour une famille avec enfants, et nous reviendrons avec grand plaisir.

Très bon séjour

Villa avec une très belle piscine. Excellent accueil avec vin muscatel et pasteis de nata. Villa très bien équipée avec climatisation. Je vous recommande la sortie bateaux avec le mari de la propriétaire, visite du marché de setubal repas sur le bateaux, visites des plus belles plages de l'arabida. Les propriétaires ne sont pas avares de bons conseils. Nous avons été accueillis comme des membres de la famille. Je recommande cette magnifique villa.

Très belle villa, la piscine est exceptionnelle, le jardin est immense. Villa bien aménagée, climatisation dans toutes les pièces. Propriétaire très accueillante, apéritif et pasteis de nata à notre arrivée et plein de bons conseils. Faire la ballade en bateau avec le mari de la propriétaire de la villa, vous visiterez le marché de Sétubal, et avec de la chance vous verrez les dauphins avec cerise sur le gâteau le trajet en cabriolet. Région D'Azeitao magnifique et située à 40 minutes le Lisbonne.

Spectacular pool and a friendly host

We enjoyed our stay 16 day stay very much! The pool is spectacular. At the shallow end our 6 year old daughter loved to play. At the far end the pool was 3 metres deep and suitable voor diving. The house is situated near the house of the owners. This did not intrude on our sense of privacy (and we are sensitive about that). The complex is large and therefore we hardly saw the owners. On the day of arrival the reception was warm and friendly. And during our stay we received fruit from their own property and were even offered fresh fish for the grill.Small problems were quickly dealt with. This part of the village is quiet. However, supermarkets like Lidl are a few minutes drive away. We would love to return here in the future.

Merveilleux séjour

Nous avons passé un merveilleux séjour dans cette superbe maison, équipée de tout le confort. La piscine et le jardin sont magnifiques. L'environnement est calme et discret, le petit village à proximité est très joli. Un Intermarché ouvert tous les jours se trouve à quelques minutes à pied. A quelques kilomètres, vous trouverez de très belles plages pas trop fréquentées dans un paysage extraordinaire. Les Portugais sont d'une grande gentillesse et très accueillants, particulièrement les propriétaires qui sont aux petits soins pour vous à tout moment. Nous avons passé d'excellents moments avec eux. C'est avec une grande tristesse que nous les avons quittés, nous espérons y retourner le plus vite possible.

Lovely. Handy for Lisbon, Beaches and Vineyards.

The house was spotless; great American kitchen, lovely furnishings, great bathroom, outside dining area and great pool. The sun loungers were really comfortable too...enough for me to mention. The location is close to supermarket, and ideal for visiting Lisbon. The house is in the garden of the owner but we rarely saw anyone and had full use of all the garden and games. The owner was so kind leaving us food in the house when we were turning up at 2 am and also very helpful. 2 issues- 1 There are 2 bedrooms, the main very beautiful room within the circular roof at the top of the stairs with no door, and the other room with 2 singles are half way down the stairs and open. 2 Dont do the tour of the vineyard with the modern art if you want to learn anything about wine. Its just a tour of the owners art collection.
