Attractive property with great pool, close to town

We fell in love with this property and the surrounding area. It has good proximity to Uzes: within a 15 minute walk you are in the centre square (Place aux Herbes) and we enjoyed some lovely meals out or cooked at the property (an outside private terrace is perfect for eating each night) and then wandered in to Uzes after dinner for icecreams and a drink. The property is fairly basic but clean and well equipped with a pleasant, sunny aspect and air conditioning. It could use more mirrors in the rooms, as six of us fought over the one in the bathroom each night! It is beautifully situated in a converted farmhouse, alongside a few other similar apartments around a pretty courtyard. A gorgeous, generous pool is for all to use and no one frowned at our exuberant children enjoying the inflatables. (Tip: it is quieter for adult swims in the mornings and over lunchtime) The owner does not speak English but was very tolerant of our halting French, helpful and kind. Do note: linens and cleaning are not included, so set aside another 100 Euros if you wish both to be provided. We opted to clean the property ourselves at the end of our stay, which was easy to do. We will definitely be back! Thank you for a lovely holiday.

Je vous remercie pour cette belle appréciation mais je voudrai apporter une précision pour les prochaines personnes qui viendront séjourner chez moi car vous n'avez pas vu ou pas compris dans la description du gîte il est précisé que le linge ou le ménage sont en option ! et le prix n'est pas aussi onéreux que celui que vous annoncez . Wir hatten eine super Woche in einer sehr schönen Wohnung. Sowohl die geräumige Terrasse als auch der wunderschöne Innenhof laden bei schönem Wetter zum Verweilen ein. Die Lage ist super, das Zentrum von Uzès ist sehr gut fußläufig zu erreichen, und im Umkreis von etwa einer Stunde mit dem Auto kann man viele tolle Ausflüge machen. Der angeschlossene Fahrradverleih ist ein zusätzlicher Pluspunkt, den wir gerne genutzt haben. Zu guter Letzt ist die sehr nette und hilfsbereite Vermieterin zu erwähnen, die ebenfalls in der Anlage wohnt und immer ein offenes Ohr für alle Anliegen hat. Wir haben fest vor, wiederzukommen!

Magnifique séjour pour le VTT

Un endroit idéal et calme à proximité de la ville même à pied. Un accueil au top. Pour notre séjour VTT, nous nous sommes régalés. L'endroit est aussi un magasin de location de vélos. Avec ou sans vélo, je recommande fortement.

Logement spacieux, au calme. Des jeux à l'extérieur pour les enfants. Accueil agréable et disponibilité de l'hôtesse - merci. La région se prête à de nombreuses sorties et découvertes - de sites prestigieux mais aussi de petits villages charmants et de caractère - (Avec enfants, essayez l'application Baludik - beaucoup de propositions à Uzès et autour d'Uzès). Malgré mauvais temps, une semaine formidable.

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour, le gîte La Cave était idéal pour nous (2 adultes 2 enfants ). La piscine très bien entretenue et vraie oasis avec cette chaleur ! Les alentours sont chargés d’histoire, nous avons fait une balade à vélo de 18kms en partant du gîte, parcours accessible aux enfants. Avons également testé le canoë sur le Gardon, en passant sous le pont du Gard… Nous devrons revenir car encore beaucoup de choses à découvrir… Merci Francoise de votre accueil !

Familie mit Hund

Wir hatten im Mas D'Azur einen rundum schönen Aufenthalt und haben uns gut erholt. Das Quartier eignet sich für Hundebesitzer besonders gut, weil sowohl die Gastgeber, als er der Ort ausgesprochen hundefreundlich sind und es im nahegelegenen Fluss gute Abkühlungsmöglichkeiten für die 4- und 2-Beiner gibt. Es sind nur ca. 10 Minuten zu Fuß bis zum Kern des wunderschönen Ortes Uzès mit dem gut besuchten Wochenmarkt (Mittwoch und Samstag), auf dem man sich bestens mit regionalen Produkten versorgen kann - noch dazu in guter Qualität. Der Ort liegt geschickt, um verschiedenste Ausflüge zu unternehmen, sei es in die Cevennen, nach Avignon oder an den Strand (Entfernung zum Meer ca. 1 1/4 Stunde Autofahrt). Unsere Gastgeberin war freundlich und hat uns gut über Restaurants und Veranstaltungen informiert, wobei das Highlight das mehrtägige Kirchweihfest - Anfang August - neben dem anschließenden Weinfest - Mitte August - war. Das Quartier war gut ausgestattet, auch mit einem eigenen Grill. Der Pool war sauber, die Anlage gepflegt. Wir kommen gerne wieder. Vielen Dank für den schönen Aufenthalt!

Wir kommen gerne wieder ...

Alles hat einfach gestimmt. Die Wohnung, alles war da, was wir brauchten, die Lage, die Ruhe. Der einzige Nachteil für uns waren die kläffenden Hunde in einer der anderen Wohnungen. Wir sind dann aber abgereist, so hat sich das von selbst erledigt. Auf jeden Fall kommen wir sehr gerne wieder.

Ressourçant !

La location est très propre, bien équipée et tout est là pour y passer un séjour idéal :) La piscine est grande et propre, les extérieurs permettent une intimité, et la cour intérieure (partagée) permet aux enfants de courir et jouer librement. La propriétaire est très sympathique et discrète à la fois. Pour les plus sportifs, on peut louer des vélos. Uzès et son marché sont accessibles à pied avec les enfants. A refaire !
