Nice holiday home with a lot of comfort

We were unfortunately only a week in this beautiful accommodation, and will definitely come back. The area is very quiet and recommended for evening walks. There is much to discover in this beautiful village. The landlady is super friendly, and was always helpful, if there were difficulties. The apartment lacks nothing, be it for social games evenings, or a cozy evening in front of the fireplace. Many thanks for the great stay.

Charming, cozy and authentic gîte

We were so happy to have this gîte to return to every evening after our forays into the Champagne region of France. We happened to choose a week that was cool and rainy for our visit, so the working wood fireplace was especially valued. Located in a small village teeming with Champagne producers (including our hosts), the cottage was ideal as a home-base to for our exploration of Reims, Épernay, and the surrounding countryside. We spent the week enjoying many fine Champagnes beginning with the welcome-gift bottle of Champagne crafted by Sylviane and her husband. The 3- bedroom cottage was spacious and well-equipped and we frequently made our evening meals in the kitchen which was outfitted with everything needed for meal preparation. Nearby, in the village of Dormans, we shopped for groceries, bread and pastries, and enjoyed a fine lunch at the restaurant recommended in the guest guide provided Sylviane. All the amenities we look for when we rent a home away were available and worked well: the shower was great, the internet connection was reliable, and the washer and dryer allowed us to start the next leg of our journey with clean laundry. There was always room for us to park our car across the street from the gîte, no matter what time of day or night we returned from our wandering. We only regret that the weather kept us from being able to explore the Marne Valley using the bicycles made available for guests. Before leaving at the end of the week, we visited our host’s C-L Champagne cellars and purchased a bottle to bring home with us. Thank you for an excellent experience!

Las fotografías del inter...

Las fotografías del interior de la casa coinciden totalmente con la realidad. La casa tiene todos los elementos necesarios para una estancia cómoda. La casa está limpia y ordenada. Las habitaciones tienen una decoración agradable y son confortables. El cuarto de baño es grande y permite el relax en su jacuzzi. Los dueños son muy amables y agradables. Nos invitaron a visitar su cava de champán y nos invitaron a degustarlo. Recomendamos esta casa para aquellos que quieran visitar la zona en familia.

Sehr schöne Landschaft! Viel zu entdecken allerdings immer mit mehr oder weniger langer Anfahrt. Schön sind die kleinen Orte abseits der grösseren Straßen. Wenig auf Touristik ausgerichtet!!!

Séjour du 10 au 17 septembre 2022

Gîte très bien situé pour visiter la région Champenoise avec ces vignobles. Nous avons passé un agréable séjour avec notre fils et sa compagne. Par contre nous avons trouvé le gîte très sale, nous avons laver la vaisselle (couteau avec des résidus, la vaisselle était collante, le four à micro ondes était très sale...) Petit regret nous aurons préféré une petite bouteille de votre production (comme sur l'annonce plutôt que des tomates de votre jardin !) ..

leuke woning. Woning heeft verderop een grasveldje met picknick tafel, te bereiken via een paadje naast huis en buurhuizen. In de woning is alles aanwezig, maar naar mijn mening verdient woning een grote schoonmaak beurt (stof, kalkaanslag kranen ) Aardige eigenaar. Lekkere champagne

Excellent.

Un gîte avec une ambiance très chaleureuse dans lequel on se sent bien. Un accueil extrêmement sympathique de Mme Couvent avec une bouteille de champagne à l’arrivée et que nous remercions de nous avoir permis de partir en début d’après-midi. Nous recommandons également leur champagne qui est excellent. Nous reviendrons et recommandons ce gîte.

Séjour de charme

Nous avons été heureux de découvrir cette charmante petite maison de vendangeurs remplie d'âme et d'authenticité. Une pièce de vie accueillante avec une table de ferme et un salon au coin du feu ouvert. La cuisine rustique , les chambres confortables et la salle de bain avec baignoire spa. Des travaux de peinture seront effectués prochainement pour rafraîchir certaines pièces. N'hésitez pas à vous rendre dans cette maison située au calme, entre la Marne et les vignes, le long de la route de Champagne et où vous serez reçus en toute décontraction et confiance par les propriétaires. Ceux-ci vous feront goûter leur Champagne dans la salle de dégustation attenante tout en vous expliquant leur beau travail de la vigne jusqu'au verre.

Wonderful gite in a very quite relaxed area

Really nice host and great gite. All the facilities you need within the house and lots of lovely extra treats provided. The area is very quiet but beautiful and we visited some lovely places.

Maison de ville en Champagne

Maison spacieuse avec tout le confort. Nous avons beaucoup apprécié la bouteille de champagne qui nous attendait. délicate attention des propriétaires. Juste un petit regret sur l'absence de jardin, avec la très belle météo estivale du week-end. Le wifi fonctionne bien et permet le télétravail. Nous avons passé un très bon séjour.

Amazing Champagne experience

Our family visited September 2019 for 6 nights & had a wonderful time . The apartment was perfect for families with a well equipped kitchen . Everything was clean & comfortable . Sylvian was very helpful & kindly offered to show us their vines , grape press & cellars . We were lucky to be there for the harvest & tried picking grapes as well ! The champagne was lovely & we managed to bring some back to Aussie . Thanks for a memorable stay !

Har du lyst til en tur til Champagne, så kan dette sted meget varmt anbefales. Vi var 4 voksne, der nød vores ophold i dette dejlige hus. Rigtig god og dejlig vært. Vi fik en flaske champagne, samt hjemmelavet jordbærmarmelade som velkomst. Champagnen smagte fantastisk. Derudover var vi også ovre for at se værtens egen champagneproduktion - utroligt spændende - afsluttende med en smagning af deres egen champagne. For mig langt at foretrække, frem for de store champagnehuse. Ellers er det kun at gå nogle dejlige turer rundt i området og vinmarkerne. Tage på besøg hos de andre champagnehuse i byen og smage deres forskellige champagner (gratis eller i hvert fald meget billige smagsprøver). Køre en tur på Champagneruten - besøge Dormans - Reims - Epernay - Château-Thierry. Opdage 1. verdenskrig i området. Oplevelser er der nok af, men vigtigst af alt - smag dig igennem de små champagnehuse / producenter. Hilsen Gert Laugesen, Vamdrup

Karakteristieke woning, geweldige eigenaresse

Heel leuk verblijf gehad! Sylviane is een geweldig lieve vrouw, heeft ons hartelijk ontvangen en wegwijs gemaakt. Het huisje is enig! Niet erg groot maar van alle gemakken voorzien. Enige nadeel: alleen boven een toilet en geen tuin. Maar je kan wel in het zijstraatje buiten zitten. Voor herhaling vatbaar!

Weihnachtsferien

Wir haben für unseren Weihnachtsferien Ruhe und Erholung gesucht und in dieser urgemütlichen Ferienwohnung gefunden. Die Wohnung sieht genauso aus wie auf den Bildern! Besonders erwähnen möchte ich den von Sylviane bereitgestellten Weihnachtsbaum. Wir hatten doch etwas bedenken was unsere Tcohter sagt wenn es keinen geschückten Baum zu Weihnachten gibt aber die Bedenken waren grundlos und die Augen unserer kleinen Maus haben gestrahlt. Vielen Dank!! Sollten wir die Champagne nocheinmal besuchen wird es defintiv wieder diese Wohnung werden.

Lovely well appointed cottage in champagne producing village

The cottage is beautifully presented. We enjoyed the incredible champagne produced by Sylviane and her husband, and loved the tour of their press and cellars. The cottage was a great base for us to walk around the vines and nearby forest with our dog, and explore the surrounding areas. The one thing I would say is that the cottage is in need of some updating / spring clean. It’s well appointed and a great size, and excellent value for money as is.

Comfortable well set out property

Highly recommended property, with all you need for a great vacation. It could do with another toilet to get that fifth star. The local town of Dormans however is a bit of a ghost town so be prepared to drive out and explore.

The best equipped Gite we have ever stayed in

We booked a week in Trelou Sur Marne, an idyllic working village slap bang in the middle of the Champagne region, close to a small town and within close proximity of Epernay, Chateau Thiery and Reims and within both driving and train distance of Paris. Welcomed by the owner, whe left us a surprise bottle of her own Champagne, home-made jam and scrummy biscuits. She showed us around the house, with its three large bedrooms, well equipped kitchen and a superb bathroom with huge walk in shower. Despite the high temperatures outside, the house was comfortably cool during the day, with plenty of lounge space, a well-equipped utility room and a kitchen with everything you could possibly need. There is an open fire and I am sure it makes the house cosy and very toasty in winter. Within the vicinity, there are plenty of 'tourist' opportunities, but we fully recommend the owner's own winery and, of course, her Champagne. If you're from the UK, the Champagne is about 50% cheaper than the UK, and a refreshing and fruity change from our 'big' brands. The local boulangerie is very good, as are those in Dormans, some 2km away. Lidl and Leclerc can be found in Dormans too, as can the train station. Pizza van comes to the village square on a Monday night, and again, we tested it out and can report that it is fabulous. There is parking directly opposite the Gite and the village is well worth a walk around. Would we visit again? In a nutshell, yes. The area is lovely, the hostess is lovely, the gite is fantastic - what's not to like! More than highly recommended! If you're choosing somewhere in the Marne valley you will not do much better than book this Gite in Trelou sur Marne.

Sehr schöne Ferienwohnung

Die Wohnung ist sehr gut ausgestattet. Allas was man braucht ist da. Die Eigentümerin ist sehr nett and hilfreich. Wir empfehlen die Ferienwohnung, besonders für Familien.
