Best vacation ever!
We just came back from Montecattini Terme where we spent 10 days. The city is charming and not too big to get everywhere by walking. We used all treatments such as drinking mineral water, took baths and had mud body raps, inhalation and sprinkling with mineral water!
The food is delicious, fresh and not so expensive as we anticipated.
The owner Claudio did everything to make our stay smooth and worry free. Villa is sparkling clean and offers Italian charm and comfort. Claudio's suggestions save us a lot of time and confusion. He provided us with maps, train schedule, arranged taxi rade from airport and on the way back,made local calls and even negotiated admition fee for local attractions.
He lives on the first floor of the villa and always at your service. Depending on the size of your group you can rent 2-4 bedrooms and still have all common areas such as kitchen, living, dining rooms and balcony available for your use.
Train rides are fantastically cheap. We took short trips to Florence, Lucca, Pisa and Prato for 6 to 3 euro per ticket. Taxi is always available. You do not need to rent a car.
