Peace in a great location

A short break in Normandy, this property is ideal for a couple. Great location, close to historic sites, fantastic beach, great cycling. A very well equipped house, everything a couple or a small family might need.

Exceeded expectations!

A very clean and efficient space for 2-3 days in Normandy. Cross-roads location perfect to Omaha Beach (1 mile) and D-Day sites and tours. Room for four if you use pull-out couch. Easy restaurant drives if eating casual. Nice kitchen and table and laundry.

Wonderful Little Home Perfect for Two with Great Location

Everything went smoothly and communicated via Google Translate as she spoke French and I only speak English. Owners mother was very prompt and courteous letting us in and getting set up.

Great find

Owner's mother couldn't have been more helpful. Lack of internet access might be a problem for some, also small bathroom might prove difficult for someone with mobility problems. On the plus side, couldn't fault the location, equipment or living space and off-road parking. Great find, close to many historic sites (and beaches).

Klein aber fein. In diesem Ferienhäuschen hat absolut nichts gefehlt was die Ausstattung angeht ( Töpfe, Pfannen, Geschirr, Gläser usw) was man benötigt wenn man selber kocht. Das Doppelbett hatte super bequeme Matratze,Das Sofa konnte man ausklappen zum Bett. Die Möbel waren nicht super modern sondern schon ein bisschen älter dafür aber massiv,sehr stabil und rustikal welches jedoch einen besonderen Charme vermittelt hat. Der Garten ist sehr groß und wird regelmäßig gepflegt und das ganze Gelände ist komplett umzäunt so das unser Hund jede Menge Platz und Auslauf hatte und wir keine Sorgen und Ängste haben mussten das er weglaufen kann. In naher Umgebung gibt es einige Restaurants mit gutem Essen. Ein Lebensmittelgeschäft ist in der Nachbarortschaft 2,4 Kilometer von der Ferienwohnung entfernt. Einziges Mango ist das Mobilnetz und Internet. Im Haus hat man keinen Empfang und im Garten nur sporadisch und wenig. Man hat erst wieder guten Empfang ca 2,5 Kilometer entfernt.

Endroit agréable, plage d'Omaha superbe et facile d'accès à pied (ou -20 minutes).Beaucoup de musées à visiter, des lieux chargés d'histoire.Un restaurant qui vaut le détour, tant par la qualité de la cuisine que l'accueil chaleureux de toute l'équipe (le D'Day). De plus, les chiens sont acceptés.

Tout est parfait concernant le gîte très bien .Toutefois attention presque aucun réseau téléphonique, 1 barre sur orange, 0 sur. SFR, 1 sur free et attention aucun accès wifi .Pas de magasin , ni d'épicerie a moins de 10kmPour les véhicules électriques seulement deux bornes de 190kw chez super U à 11 km souvent occupées A part cela , tout parfait

Schöne Ferienwohnung in einem kleinen Badeort

Wir hatten ein paar schöne Tage in Saint-Laurent-sur-Mer. Die Ferienwohnung ist sauber und mit allem ausgestattet was man braucht. Sogar ein Grill, ein Kinderbett und ein Hochstuhl sind vorhanden. Die Kommunikation erfolgt ausschließlich auf französisch, aber mit einer Übersetzungs-App ist das kein Problem. Wir haben die Ferienwohnung und den Ort gewählt, weil er am Omaha Beach liegt: einem der Strände an welchen die Alliierten am 6. Juni 1944 landeten. In der Region ist der Erinnerungstourismus sehr wichtig und man kann viel dazu besichtigen.
