Just before entering the apartment the view is so magnificent that you will want to pause and catch your breath. The gardens, flowers, trees and neatness of the surroundings will erase any stress you might come with. The upper terrace will give 'YOUR SPACE' AWAY FROM EVERYONE ELSE. Very hard to find in any other apartment. I'm sure your vacations will be the best ones ever and you will be dreaming about coming back as soon as possible.

Notes:
Estepona has a fabulous playground for kids. I would say it is one of the best parks out of Marbella & Puerto Banus. Its huge and runs along the sea front and it gets bigger and better for the older kids. There is lots of seating too and the flooring is made up of sponge tiles so you really feel it is as safe as it can be. We often go an a Sunday morning - but get there early as it gets really really busy. We normally start of at the park and then cross the road and sit in one of the local cafes, or if you take a little further walk into the old town you can find some great Churros (donut mix dipped in chocolate).

Wonderful spot in Estepona - Costa del Sol!

2 couples stayed for 4 nights on a whirlwind trip to Spain. Working with Matilde and Kathy was so easy and trusting!

We arrived to Malaga late on train, rented car from Sixt and proceded to unit. Easy drive and no problem finding the complex. Safe and secure as is every area of Spain we visited! Packet with keys and map of complex and directions were left with the guard. Parking garage is quite interesting when driving a larger car! Posts to weave around, but clean and well lit! Matilde has 2 spaces near elevator which was perfect!

Some goodies and beverages were available for us which was great! No eating spots right there on Good Friday eve, but easy drive to town and tons of options there, right across from the beach.

Unit was very clean, great internet (huge for us to have for business reasons), plenty of space and 2 private bedrooms so each couple had their own bath. Washing machine was a plus as well. Unit is bright and cheery! Up the spiral was another bath, pool and sun decks. Sadly we day toured so never got to utilize this or the other amenities of the complex. We all said we would like to return! We are actually so happy we stayed in Estepona vs Malaga area as more private, relaxing and super easy access to Gibralter, Tariffa (Ferry to Morocco), Ronda etc....Malaga would have been another hour farther.

Most are privately held and not leased, so unit was very quiet and comfortable. Grounds were well cared for, easy access to the beach and a lovely walkway.

The main level had a wonderful outdoor patio for coffee in the am with a view through to where we could see the ocean!

Just as advertised and super responsive communication

We stayed at the end of march and had the whole complex to ourselves. Unit has a private elevator, was very quiet, and extremely spacious inside and out. Our daughters, 9 and 13, loved the indoor pool.

Beautiful

We can only echo all of the fantastic things about this stay I really loved the apartment so well taken care of such as everything you see in pictures very comfort beds awesome bathrooms and a lot of space , the pool was amazing you have great views from the terrace and landscape around the community , we had nothing but a wonderful experiences during our stay. Great location for local bars, shopping boutiques, many cafes to try.

Must go to Laguna Beach which is not even 10 min away from the apartment you can walk along the beach to get there super relaxing.

A night out with the family for dinner we went to a few places, but i really liked going to el centric de estepona town is picture postcard , narrow streets with traditional white buildings, little hidden plazas can be discovered to a variety of really good restaurants its no more then 15 mins from the apartment. over all my stay was amazing having nothing but good says , very beautiful place to stay great location for day trips to Ronda, Marbella, Gibraltar.

Thank you so much for making our stay comfortable cant wait to come back!!! :)

Highly Recommend!

This trip was a very first trip abroad for my son and myself, and not knowing for sure what to expect, we could not have been more pleased.

The apartment has very modern amenities, is well appointed with all the comforts of home, and also has excellent security features. The view from the terraces of the Mediterranean and Gibraltar was spectacular. The town of Estepona is charming--especially the old town strip of shops and restaurants along the coast. Estepona is a wonderful central location with easy access for day trips to Ronda, Gibraltar, Malaga, Marabella, and Seville (a bit further trip but worth it). Some of these excursions we took on our own, and others we were able to easily book a last minute guided tour which I would recommend for Seville and Gibraltar. While it is hard to choose, my favorite trip was per Matilde's recommendation--Ronda!

Being our first trip, we did have to learn the "hard way" about how to shop for certain necessities (our luggage was lost, so we needed to find specific toiletries and clothing items that were not carried in the European version of "Walmart" called Carrefour. To find items like contact lens solution, bandaids, ibuprofen, OTC allergy meds, etc....one can only go to the "Pharmacia" which are abundant, but separate from other types of stores. We also learned about the siesta portion of the day and to not bother searching for an open restaurant between 4-7pm, haha! And for good reason--the weather is enchantingly breezy and cool after 7pm and this time of year the sun doesn't set until 9:30pm.

The property manager, Kathy, was extremely helpful, attentive and kind. We would not hesitate to stay in this same apartment the next time we visit the Costa del Sol!

Our one and only suggestion might be for us spoiled Americans with a bit of arthritis....to maybe keep a feather bed mattress topper to add to the Master bed to pull out as an option for those who may need added back cushion/support. I ended up just sleeping on the sofa for the week instead and it slept wonderfully. The beds well very clean and nice, just extra firm :).

Restaurants & eating out – 15 -20 minutes WALKING on the main promenade overlooking the beach and with amazing sunsets and ocean views, will take you to the center of town.

Estepona is renowned for its beaches, which stretch along some 21 km of coastline. It is a popular resort and holiday destination.

Due to its natural environment, surrounded by the sea and the mountains, Estepona has a micro-climate with over 325 days of sunshine per year.

Estepona is a popular year-round holiday destination; it has two EC Blue Flag beaches, a modern sports marina with many tapas bars and restaurants. The white-walled town centre has many shops and picturesque squares. In the early 1990s, the Walt Disney Company chose Estepona as the original site for its Eurodisney project, but Paris, France was later awarded the installation.[citation needed]

Gibraltar Airport is the nearest international airport serving Estepona. It is 45 km away and has direct flights to Manchester, London Gatwick and London Luton. Málaga Airport is the next nearest international airport serving Estepona and is located approximately 80 km away

Places of interest.

Puerto Banús is an upscale community about 30 minutes drive away from Estepona Port with a large number of designer stores.

Selwo Safari Park is styled after African safari parks and houses 2000 animals in semi-wild conditions. It is a 20 minute drive from Estepona Port on the public transport route.

Palacio de Exposiciones y Congresos de Estepona is the exhibition and congress centre of Estepona,

'Playa del Cristo', or Christ Beach, is five minutes west of Estepona Port. It is a small cove with lifeguards on station and also two 'chiringuitos' or beach front bar/restaurants. La Rada Beach is 2 minutes east of Estepona Marina and at over 1.5 km in length runs from the marina past Estepona's old town. There is also a popular naturist/nudist beach of Costa Natura to the west of Estepona, which was the first official naturist site in Spain.

Estepona is not known for the 'night club' culture found in some areas on the Costa del Sol, but does have a wide variety of bar and restaurants. Dining choices emphasize locally-caught seafood, and range from local Spanish cuisine to other Mediterranean cuisines, including Italian and French. Many restaurants have terraces allowing diners to eat al fresco (outside) during the late evening.

Most restaurants are located near the seafront, either along the main promenade fronting the sea or along Calle Real. There are a number of small plazas or squares next to Calle Real, on which numerous restaurants can be found.

Cycling and tennis are popular in Estepona, with many road races held in the area, and three major tennis clubs. The many golf courses around Estepona include:
