Hey come on down we’d love to have ya stay with us!
We have lived in this community of friendly people and quiet roads most of our lives .... its a pleasant experience that we hope will be enjoyed by others.
Woodland Cottage was built in the 1950s by a colorful and somewhat eccentric lady and her husband. They had a real zest for life and were loaded with personality, laughter, warmth and practicality.... it is all reflected in the design layout and feel of this unique and quaint little cottage.
We feel you will just love a relaxing get away here...so book your stay... come on down or up or over ...... we'll be glad to have ya!
We had a great stay here. The owners were very generous in allowing my large family to stay in this home. It was great to have a large yard for the kids to run and play. We were close enough to town to get what we needed, and far enough out to get that "out in the country" feeling. We had a great time!
This property is offers great access to all of the amenities Mena and the surrounding areas offer while still remaining quiet and secluded. Great access to the national forest through the back yard. Plenty of towels, pantry supplies, games, fans, sheets, awesome dvd selection. Grocery stores and other shops only a few minutes away. Perfect property for children and dogs. We had an amazing Christmas there!
Well taken care of with all the basic things to rest after a day of hiking.
Great people to rent from, great communication!!! The cabin is very peaceful and cozy, and is so unique!!
We enjoyed our weekend getaway and the location is great, just 10mins into town and not far from other from attractions as well.
We were looking to turn off our phones and unplug from our crazy hectic lives...and this hideaway definitely delivered! The unique cabin provided all of the comforts of home, the beds were comfy, and the eccentric decor made the stay delightful. We explored the immediate area for hours, and got in some hiking miles that were so uniquely beautiful. Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! We can't wait to come back in the fall and winter to see the leaves changing, and a blanket of snowfall!
Details: The owners were very responsive and helpful, and communicated quickly. The property was clean and well-maintained. There were plenty of beds to choose from, and were clean and comfortable. There were plenty of towels and linens, and the kitchen had plenty of usable supplies. And of course, we got no phone reception in the house, which provided a much needed respite from our lives! :0)
My wife and I were looking for a quiet getaway from the city, and the cabin was a perfect choice for us. Jonathan was extremely helpful and communicated with us well. The cabin was clean and quirky (in a fun way).
