Very close to the city center and to train station for day trip (Bologna-Rome: 2h 20min only!)

THE GATEWAY is very convenient to visit the old city by foot, and to purchase local gastronomy from the most characteristic city-markets, as the famous ‘Mercato di Mezzo’ and the market town of medieval origins.

How to get around from / to:

TRAIN STATION: <200 meters (5 min walking) or all bus solutions are around the corner (for heavy luggage only)

FROM / TO AIRPORT: <5 km or 30 minutes with Airbus (from train station stop)

-taxi: ab. € 25

BY CAR, 2 solutions:

- ‘Blue line’ parking areas around the building (and also in all Bologna) need a hourly-ticket to be paid in advanced on the small red machine, close to the blue line parking areas (ab. 2.5€/h from 8.00 AM to 8.00 PM, free at night)

-Covered Parking available starting from 25€/day, at 100m from The Gateway

Antonio was very welcoming and super accommodating about our late arrival. He recommended lots of places in and around Bologna for us to visit. The apartment was well equipped and we appreciated the fact that each bedroom had its own bathroom. Everything was clean and there was plenty of storage space. Apartment was clean and comfy. The washer and dryer were a huge plus. We had three people stay here and had plenty of room. It is a 15-20 min walk to the center of Bologna but 5-10 mins from the main train and bus stations. Very convenient!

Light, bright and spotlessly clean

This is an amazing apartment and is only a 5min walk to the train station. It was spotlessly clean and the hosts met us and showed us around. Good sized rooms, a great kitchen, big TV, two good bathrooms and comfy beds. It's a 20-min walk into the centre of the city but it's easily accessible.
