Lovely apartment in a nice part of town that was very convenient. Big Living room and well-equipped kitchen. However, the host was the best part. He was very responsive to all issues including getting a car for the airport and showing us how to use the appliances. Would stay again

A lovely escape in the middle of busy Bologna, this apartment is clean and breezy. Fantastic cucina perfect for a small meal and a peaceful atmosphere with everything you need. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Our favourite part of Bologna.

The appartment was exactly as advertised. It was clean and in very good condition and very comfortable. It was as if my Italian grandmother had left her appartment for the weekend and my wife and I moved in. If you wish to stay in an appartment that feels like a large chain 5 star hotel, look for someplace else. If you want a place that is authentic Bologna, this may be what you are looking for. Be aware that you must walk up two flights of stairs to get to the appartment and if that is difficult for you, keep looking as there isn't an elevator. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay there and it was about a ten minute walk to the center of town. Nik was very helpful whenever we asked any questions and his meet-and-greet was very informative.

Great Stay in Bologna

We were in town for the Grand Prix, and enjoyed our stay at Nik's place. Great location, walking distance to everything. Nik met us on arrival and showed us the place and gave nice suggestions for dining etc. Would stay here again - thanks Nik.

Wife and I stayed here during our stop in Bologna. The owner was terrific!! He reserved a restaurant and taxis for us. He lives nearby and is always available.

Perfect stay in Bologne

We enjoyed everything about our stay at this property. The apartment was lovely and quiet with a garden view on the courtyard. The location is excellent with sites and restaurants nearby. We had an excellent stay in this centrally located apartment. The owner, Nik, was incredibly helpful and responsive, answering questions promptly and sharing his recommendations for where to eat. The single bed in the lounge was comfortable for my 12 year old and the bedroom itself was roomy. The high ceilings and tall windows made for a light and airy space, as shown in the photos. The bathroom is quirky and had everything we needed for our stay. The apartment was a great base for exploring the sights of Bologna and we also walked to the station to do a day trip to Parma by train.I would love to return and would stay in the apartment again.

Great Location in Fine Old City

The property was as described online, and in a *great* location in this fine medieval city. Host Nicoli was very welcoming, and gave us recommendations for excellent restaurants and area sites to see. The many miles of porticoes/covered walkways made it possible to be out doing things even in the heaviest of downpours. We recommend this property to others.

Bologna dream apartment !

The host and the apartment were truly amazing. Beautiful home close to many amenities and Piazza Maggiore. We would definitely stay here again. It exceeded all of our expectations as did the city itself. Highest recommendation ! Plus the host found a ride for us to the train station. Nicola is very helpful. This is a ten out of ten.

Apt was perfect for the two of us. Great location. Able to walk to most places. Nicko was very responsive. Met us upon arrival. Sat down with us and gave us many food recommendations. Arranged for transport back to train station for us. Not fancy. Just perfect and comfortable.

A quiet paradise overlooking a garden

We spent 3 comfortable weeks in Nicola's apartment. The kitchen and bathroom are old but serviceable. The light and garden was so nice. The day bed in living room works well if you have an extra visitor. Nicola lives in the house in the garden is so attentive. There was lots of room and it was spotless. We would willingly return.

Perfect in every way

Nicola met us at the door, gave us an extensive walk-thru of this very large apartment (full kitchen, washer, living room, bed/bath) and then explained the historical city’s directions with attraction and dining recommendations. The location was convenient, on a quiet street and very safe. Upon our departure, Nicola invited us for coffee. Who could ask for anything more... absolutely perfect!! Gracie, gracie to our host!!!!! Four Great Days in Bologna

We had a great time at Nicola's place in Bologna. Our check in was very easy. Nicola had a map and showed us many interesting things to see in the area, including restaurants. Everything we wanted to see was within a 15 minute walk of the very spacious apartment, including the train station. From there, we took two great day trips: Venice and Modena. Nicola was a great host. He was always prompt with his responses when we had questions. He even arranged transportation for us on our checkout day. The neighborhood comes alive at night, but we were not subject to any noise issues. Thanks again to Nicola for a wonderful stay!

L'appartement est très spacieux et "dans son jus" et c'est ce qui fait tout son charme. Idéalement placé pour visiter Bologne et en prime des hôtes charmants, très prévenants et agréables, à l'écoute de nos besoins. Nous avons beaucoup apprécier Bologne et ses galeries qui apportent de la fraîcheur au mois d’août, ainsi que sa cuisine divine. Merci à Nicola et à son adorable père pour ce bel accueil. Vacances bolognaises

Si vous recherchez un logement authentique, avec le charme de l'ancien et le confort d'aujourd'hui, dans un quartier vivant et très commerçant, contactez Nicola, il se mettra en quatre pour vous faire passer un excellent séjour. L'appartement n'a rien de standardisé, le quartier est proche du centre et des collines verdoyantes et on trouve toutes les boutiques, restaurants et cafés que l'on peut souhaiter. La gare est à 25 minutes à pied et permet de découvrir facilement toutes les magnifiques villes d'Emilie-Romagne. On revient quand même toujours avec plaisir à Bologne retrouver le calme et les chats sur le toit !

Appartement au charme désuet, un peu défraichi mais propre, calme, confortable, équipé et surtout très bien situé : vue sur jardin, quartier sympathique avec commerces et trattorie de qualité, à proximité du centre historique à pied (7 mn). Nonna’s comfortable apartment

We received a warm welcome from Nicola. The apartment we were staying in had been his grandmother’s apartment. It was a comfortable city apartment, close to all the historic arcades with an abundance of restaurants and historic sites. Our host Nicola was wonderful, going above and beyond when we needed him. We are so grateful for his kind hospitality. The architecture and historic sites are fantastic but the real treasures of Bologna are the people.

Nic was great as our train was running late so we were late to check in but he was available to meet us. He had a map with sited already for us along with restaurant suggestions! Whole experience was wonderful!
