About the owner: Semi retired, we enjoy getting out of town. 60 miles drive from Albuquerque NM. The Burlington trains go along I 40 and cross over twice. We go to mountain home to get away from the city life It is very peaceful to enjoy the out doors
Why the Owner Chose Grants, NM, USA:
The home is on a dead end road, very peaceful. It has five types of trees and natural forest grasses. Elk and deer come into the yard to eat the grass. The wood peckers and other birds come to nest and eat the bugs. The county road is paved to the main road about a mile from the cabin, you have year around access and the county maintains the roads when it snows. You are at the base of the mountain @ 7300 ft.
The Unique Benefits at this Cabin:
You are in a canyon surrounded by pinon and cedar trees and Mountain tops. There are 2 dry creeks that run when it rains. The birds are in the oak and pinion trees nesting and hanging out . The neighbors (about 4) are about a foot ball field away, you can hear them but not see them. There is no cell phone service but if you go to the main road by the mail box you can get a signal. There is a land line for making calls it comes with free long distance in the us only
